An AROD suspension actually bad for the Yankees

It's amazing that this team is at the point where you hope the suspension rumors aren't true. The garbage the Yankees would be stuck with in place of Arod makes me sick.

If I understood things correctly, at least what I heard, is.....if a-Rod comes back to play & then deems himself unfit due to injury then he gets paid. If he is suspended before he comes back then the Yankees can file something where they can either viod his contract or not have to pay the full remaining 114M. Something like that.
 
Rick, I think he has to have some sort of "doctor's excuse" before the insurance will kick in. But yeah, my hope is that there is some sort of criminal charge in his future and maybe the contract can be voided...either way, i want him gone.
 
I think that would be the general conscience. BTW: I was just banned from the other board. Unbelievable.
 
Half expect an announcement shortly from a-rod that he can no longer play due to debilitating hip injuries which enables him to retire and collect full 114m left and taking future baseball suspension which could cost him 10 to 15 million out of play. In lieu of his performance so far not even hitting A ball shouldn't be that hard for him to get a doctor to concur. Sounds like baseball suspensions coming right after allstar break so clock is ticking on a-rod. Yanks probably rooting hard for this option as it saves them the money (thru insurance) as opposed to them probably fighting a long losing battle to void the contract.
 
I almost half believe him and the Yankees have worked out a plan. It was so weird when he tweeted he was cleared, was told to shut the f up, claimed he wasn't sure if we could be back this season, was confirmed a day or so later that he would he could start rehab games and now seems absolutely clueless at he plate in those games.

It's another board some of the regulars apparently went over to. Based on their behavior as of late I want nothing to do with any of them.

...that's the way I feel about it now. I tried to keep an opened mind but after their spamming, aping screen names, and flagging over the past couple of days, there's no way I'd ever be a part of that board. And like I've said, others can see the crap they're trying to pull as well which actually reduces their chances of "recruiting" more posters. ...epic fail IMO.

I went over there and saw that they actually game planned their nonsense which included picking you out as the bad guy. So ridiculous and childish I actually wonder how old some of them are.

Yeah, I read some of the same comments...no sense in arguing with them anymore because I'm already convicted....but it's OK. I know the truth. Some of them are really taking this message board thing way too seriously and are treating it as some kind of "war" or something....I mean, we're all Yankee fans but now they are relegated to choosing sides?...like you said, it's pretty childish.
 
I was going to try to explain that this wasn't a war and that people could go where they wanted. Getting people banned and ruining their posts because they're promoting another board is just silly. Like you said there's no sense in arguing or trying to reason with people like that. I wasn't treating this as a competition. Plus, I'd rather have a spot with a small amount of solid posters over a free for all filled with trolls and nonsense.

Because the folks who want people to go to that site were likely trying to get you to stop talking about this site. That's the level they're at.

That's just ridiculous. BTW: did you check & see if your ban was lifted on the ESPN board? Normally its only for 24 hours.
