THE VERDICT

Anchorman 2 is an achingly funny, overlong comedy that takes the anarchic flavour of the first film and amplifies it. While it would have been nice to have seen a little more attention paid to the rest of the central cast, Ferrell does a fine job carrying most of the film’s considerable weight on his manly shoulders. Let’s hope we don’t have to wait another nine years for the next one.

7.8=GOOD

+The same hilarious left-field gags
+Will Ferrell is better than ever.
+Carrell gets the perfect comedy partner in Wiig.
– Overlong & erring towards indulgent
– Would have liked more of the rest of the news team

Do you think you can clean up some the crap in the post that is not related to the movie review?

Also you need to include a link to where you got this review from.

I could never make it through the first one, and I have really no desire to see this one either.

Thanks!

Well if a 7.8 review doesn't get you to go see this movie...

"Overly long" describes pretty much all of McKay's and Apatow's films.
