I was gonna say the same thing. That dates them back to Pre Duncan days with Robinson. They lost Robinson and remained a Dynasty.

That would mean Chicago is currently a dynasty, near the top of the east for a few years, but they lost their star player last year and still competed. Not sure about the equation of losing your star means you cant still compete with the top tier. It all depends on how you lose him and what you get in return.
In most case it seems to be that way though as far as I recollect.

Exactly, and though not every game matters per se in the regular season, I think this is why I get so emotional and agitated because we haven't won a title (in my lifetime) and I would give anything to see my team win just 1 title and own some memorbrailla like a shirt or something. I just can't see it though knowing how crooked the league and its officials are. One day I hope.
