If he's good, start him. Wes will be great off the bench.

Wes is actually a good choice to start, he is steady and always goes hard setting a tone. He's just not that good, so reducing his minutes would be nice.

Most NBA ready prospect probably. I seriously think he'll contend for ROY

I like Wes a lot, but if you have a ROY candidate who is suited to play 40 minutes, put your best guys out there and go for it.

Play Wes in 3 guard sets, at backup SF, and in situations where he is a better match up.

IMO

This pick has a real shot to be a solid pick, but I'm not overly excited.

I don't think the Curry/Ellis comparison is right, I think the better comp for our backcourt right now is last years GSW's Curry and Thompson like Lillard and Matthews, with Jack off the bench like CJ. I would have liked them to swing for the fences with rebuilding, but I see them going hard for Gortat now and that top 6 compares favorably to GSW last year, not title contenders but a playoff squad if they can land the big center.

If we can get this bench thing into this kid's mind from early on, we can have a serious Ginobili/JR Smith/Jet Terry esque contributor on our hands for the long run.

The Sacramento Kings selected C.J. McCollum with the number eleven pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. Watch highlights of Lehigh senior guard C.J. McCollum.

This is the description for the video....

I like the pick. It should make for an interesting summer league team.

I like the pick, but c'mon guys how "fitting" is it that he missed his senior year due to a foot injury? Made to be a Blazer

Like the small school selections two year's in a row. Kersey/Porter!

That interview was cool cause he kept talking about Lillard and how it helped drive him. The stars were aligned

Didn't Lillard have a foot injury also? Maybe I'm making things up but I thought that was the case. If so at least we dodged at least a year lol

Exact same injury, but one was right foot, one was left foot.

Yup. Broken foot his junior year.
