Teixeira missed last nights game due to a tight hammy & is listed as day to day.
The guy has been bothered for most of the season with various ailments. Early in the year he suffered a strained right hamstring that put him on the disabled list. He then missed 3-4 games in May due to a sore right wrist. He missed another 2 games in June due to soreness in his wrist again that required a cortisone shot. Later in June he was scratched from the lineup due to a left oblique problem. He missed a game in July because of a left knee issue. Later in July he missed 6 games due to a left lat issue. In early August he was scratched because of light headedness. A few days later he missed 3 games because of an injured pinkie that required 3 stitches. And now this.
Like I said, 2 more years of this shit.
