I have the Droid Incredible. Get Advanced task killer and Juice defender. They'll double your battery life. I'm 10 hours into being unplugged @ 91%....currently at 61%.

Used to have an Android, got the iPhone and love it. The only thing I miss is the SWYPE texting!

i can't find the swype app in the market place. how did you get it?

I've got a Droid 1 and its a bit slow at times. I think the OS updates have moved a bit beyond this hardware. Everything works just fine its just not that snappy like some of the newer ones are.

I have no problems with my battery life though. It was sort of crappy back when I first got it and it was set to check my email accounts and whatnot every hour. I've since scaled back a lot of those settings and I could easily go two days without charging it and if I knew I wouldn't have a charger I could probably stretch it to three or four. Not a big time phone user but several calls a day, double digit texts and your occasional google maps/email check/games/etc.

I'm due for a new phone in the fall but I'll be abroad and I'd probably wait until Jan/Feb anyway to get a legit 4G phone not some feaux 3G/4G first gen type of deal.

The Verizon iPhone does data and voice at the same time if you are on WiFi. I talked to a few people who have the AT&T version, and they said they never need voice and data at the same time. I haven't missed it.

FWIW, I tend to use the phone far more for data calls than for voice ones anyway.

Got an HTC thunderbolt and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

Both Incredible. Android is amazing. AOSP is God-like. So easy to hack and if you know how to do it everything on this phone is free.
