I remember when Sam Perkins went 8 for 8 on 3's without missing he sold t-shirts with an "8 for 8" logo. Dude thought that record would stand forever back in 1997.

He's so young and he's gonna go through quite a bit of slumps.

Coach is holding him back so once he's gone he's gonna be able to play through.

Omg stop lol.. All simons does is hit 3s granted he does that extremely well. Other than that he gives u nothing else. Literally nothing else

It was a good draft year for sure but are you suggesting that a number of teams would not rather have chosen Simons who was taken 24th over their pick? Knicks, Clippers, Phoenix, Chicago?

Simons was drafted 24th...among that draft class,

* Simons ranks 25th in points/game
* 37th in rebounds/game
* 24th in assists/game
* 38th in FG%
* 10th in 3ptFG%
* 37th in winshares
* 39th in winshares/48
* 38th in BPM
* 51st in value over replacement

so he's beating his draft slot in just one category, three's. And he's well below his slot in several metrics that measure impact and efficiency

now, I was impressed with his scalding hot shooting tonight and he has been playing well over the last 2-3 weeks. But this is his 3rd season so I'd say he'll need a lot more games similar to tonight's game before other teams start regretting not picking him, unless a team's pick completely busted out like Zhair Smith

Did you find it?

Thank you! He does nothing except hit 3s. Which again is great but please.. he’s useless other than that

I would not call him useless at all

he's starting to display some decent court vision for his passes every once in a while and that's an improvement. His defense is horrible but that's not an exclusive sin on this roster. His April numbers are really good if you disregard the smaller sample size. But I'd think a good step forward is too make the most of limited minutes, and he's been doing that this month

the thread title pushes the narrative that he's really young, but he's in his 3rd season and will turn 22 in 5 weeks or so. That's young, but not really notably young, especially for a guard. He's older than Jaren Jackson, Kevin Knox, Ja Morant, Darius Garland, Tyler Herro, Keldon Johnson, Anthony Edwards, Lamelo Ball and Tyrese Haliburton. Obviously, many of those guys were top-10 picks so comparing Ant to them might be a bit unfair, but it is a gauge of what's possible at his age. I mean, he's only 4 months younger than Doncic

I feel like I was at a Blazer game where Tim Thomas torched us and hit 8 threes; I believe he was playing for the Bucks.

That was far more uncommon 20 years ago.

He is young dude his body haven't fill out yet. He will full off season this year so let see how does next year if improve his weakness.

You have hit on the 800-pound gorilla in a bull in a China shop.

3 years in, his body is still pencil thin, like Zach Collins. Now that PG is a lost dream, can Simons survive as a weightless 6-3 SG? Or will he be injury-riddled? It's a riddle wrapped in a conunumbrumal enigma.

Nice to see him being used in his proper role--three point specialist shooting guard. His defense even looked less shitty than usual tonight.

Yet another guy, though, who will not receive the minutes he needs because of Melo.

I think he will last due on offense he don't take it to hoop much yet and think that where a small guy gets majority of his pounding.

This photo is AWESOME - but it's not because of Anfernee

Blazer fans: world's best at taking something good and finding the shitty in it. Every little fluffy cloud has a turd lining.
