The Rangers are playing their best hockey which will soon be interrupted for the remainder of the month. It's even more maddening as I read these stories about the horrible conditions the athletes are going to be facing as they head to Russia. From the boarding conditions, to disgusting yellow water, toilets where you can't flush toilet paper, bugs and a bunch of other issues. This is a complete disaster in a place that clearly had no business being awarded an Olympic games.

yea this Olympic break sux. The team is finally clicking and we have to break, plus take the risk of injury for those playing in Russia. Also agree it's a mess to have the Olympics in Russia just like it's dumb to have them and the World Cup in Brazil.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear about folks leaving once they get a load of what's going on. Unless the media is overplaying things. I'm not saying it has to be a five stat resort but I've never heard about conditions like this at the Olympics before. Not to mention they're saying things weren't even completed. It's clear those corrupt fucks are just looking at collecting as much money as possible while skimping on the event. They're saying many of the showers don't even have curtins.

the team was hot the last 2 olympics and werent the same afterwards

in 06, they were leading the division, Jagr was scoring like crazy, they ended the season 3rd in the division and jagr lost the scoring lead to Thornton and the goal lead to fuckin Cheechoo

I have always hated NHL players in the Olympics. Even if it didn't affect the Rangers, I'd much rather see college kids or guys in juniors play anyway.
