Hypocrite1. a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, esp. a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.2. a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, esp. one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements. In the first segment you quoted, I stated that I did not know much about animes, and that I didn't have a desire to explore them more.I then stated that I believed
many animes were marketing ploys, again referring to my limited knowledge so no one would get mad if I sounded ignorant. Note the word
many, a word that
dictates large number, but a word that does not mean all.So, after one round, I confess I hadn't seem much anime, and disliked many animes. Not all, many.I then said, that one day a film buff recommended I watch an anime film. I thought it was very good. Wait, let's rephrase...I still thought many animes were bad, and I still had limited knowledge, but in this particular circumstance, I thought that an anime was good. Then, I said I didn't like the movie's TV series version.Let's recap.
I don't like most animes. There was one anime film I liked.I didn't like it's TV version. So in conclusion, I have not pretended to have opinions that I don't actually have. I gave an example of how I don't like many animes, but how there was one I did enjoy. That's not hypocritical, whatsoever. You are not bold, you are overzealous and unintelligent. Stop trying so hard.Stop.
