It's not easy to post youtube, twitter, instagram and vine in the forum. The new software would look very similar when Denny got done setting it up but posting social media in the forum would be much easier.

This is about the only site I post on, except for my own, so what the hell! However, I won't if I must have a twitter or Facebook account and I do not want it using my google id.

However, I would enthusiastically support the change if it brought PapaG back.

No, you don't need a twitter or facebook account. The way you log in now will work just fine when we switch over to the new software.

It is most gracious of you to be so accommodating. But you did skip over the salient issue. New forum clean Banned list! It does seem appropriate.

I've played around on it. I like the design and how it works on my iPhone (which renders as "mobile") and iPad (which renders as "desktop"). Everything seems fast to load, fast to render, and doesn't lose the essential qualities that make up our forum.

I like it.

Any software we'd use, including the current software, is likely hackable. Banks and large corporations with teams of security experts are breached frequently enough.

That said, I am very security conscious, and (knock on wood) we've not been hacked or defaced yet. It's probably that we're running under the radar.

I do have a plan to radically improve our security if we move. Not going to spill it yet.

More guns should do it!
