Anonymous Scouts Takes: PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS

They probably shouldn't be spending too much time on the internet if they are that sensitive...
Yeah, because one should just expect to see an accurate depiction of a gouged corpse gushing blood on any site they go on. That's the internet, right?

Curry was on a much worse team. Stats were about even with Napier (one stat a little higher, another a little lower, etc.). I expect Stotts will create in Curry what he created in Napier.

I appreciate Napier because he was the best substitute PG we'd had in years.
Yeah and Napier was on a worse team before Portland and he was horrible... so how is that an argument? That's a stupid argument. On one hand, you can say "He looked good because he was on a bad team"... On the other hand, you can say "He looked good because he was next to good players"... It's such a cop out.

I didn’t say his FG % was awful, nor did I even say “awful”. I’d appreciate it if you don’t attribute words to me I didn’t use and not misquote me, if you’re going to respond to me.

He is our worst offensive player, based on the fact he has no offensive skill set. Put back dunks and alley oops are the extent of his offense.

We have no clue who his replacement is. If I recall correctly, didn’t Zach play mostly with Ed Davis? Seems like that might be a tough hard to replace someone when they consistently played together.

I never said Ed Davis wasn’t a good player, either.

Seems like your post is filled with stuff that was pulled out someones ass to respond to me. This post is complete shit as it relates to what I stated, particularly given the post seemingly attributes things I never said to me and makes some very interesting logical leaps that leave a bit to be desired.

I don’t entirely disagree. My point is... I don’t think Ed Davis is a functional player in the playoffs in the modern NBA.

I can’t believe I’m about to say this but...

Simply having Meyers Leonard out there, in the playoffs, provides more for our offense than Ed Davis, particularly because you can’t realistically play Ed with Nurk.

Ed is a great rebounder, but being a complete joke on the offensive end more than negates that, in my opinion.

If the play-offs are the only yard-stick, none of the Blazer big men are viable. The past few seasons have seen them badly exposed by the GSW and NO.

Our starting front court in the GSW series was Noah Vonleh and Maurice Harkless. Not hard to see how they were "badly exposed" by the eventual champs.

Nurk played 18 minutes in that series. We were +8 in those 18 minutes.

I was refering to 2017-2018. I tend to refer to when the season starts - ie this is the 2018 season. Not really something to make a federal case over!

So worthless as in injured?

Yeah... No...
