Another player on the list of the most hated and a particular enemy of Yankee Fans our buddy Jose Bautista. Saw this spoiled guppy on video saying "no hometown discount" wants a five year deal, denies a salary demand of 150 mil for the contract life. Hey there you with the ego, you're 35, if I were the Jays I'd say do like Ray Charles sang, hit the road jack. The man is a total A@@ yet the sports cast team commended him for telling it like it was. I don't know about the other board members but I'm getting disenchanted with the BS going in in the game. Baseball: wonderful game but a very nasty business.
 
Here's what also bugs me about Bautista that nobody takes notice of...................

2007 - 532 ABs = 15 HRs & 63 RBI
2010 - 569 ABs = 54 HRs & 124 RBI

In 3 years he turned into Superman, Gee, I wonder where all that power came from.
 
He used the Mark McGuire method, "OK boys, bend over. Bautista is right there with Big Sloppi.
 
...and don't forget the accusations about the Jays stealing signs.
 
I think Joey Bats, and Carlos Gonzalez were both cloned from Rafael Palmeiro, and the same Mule.....
 
This is a time when I'd like to see a GM say " Look snot nose, we've appreciated your service and you were well paid for it. Approaching 36 means you could be slowing it down so we will make you pay commensurate with your perceived ability. Maintain and we offers incentives. If you don't like that get out of Dodge.

When I think of Toronto, I say: Dave Winfield where hath thou gone....

dead sea gulls in the OF, next best thing to Blue Jays....wait, I love blue jays, (only the birds, not the team or players), and Cardinals too....the bird and the team....wait, no, I only root for the Yanx, I don't want to be a Ricky 4 teamer.......

Actually, if the truth be told, I root for the Yanx, and half the NL teams too, Hockey several, NBA only the GS Warriors, fk the Lakers, Kobe & the Mule he rode in on, the Clippers suck also....So do the other AL Teams, but then we got the NFL, and NCAA FB, not to mention a few Little Lg teams, and that makes me Rob 31 Flavors Baskin Robbins Teams.....

good thing Olympics don't count....

Did you watch the Warriors last night??? Steph Curry scored like 51 or 52 points. He is having an awesome season.
 
Curry IMO, is a lock for the MVP, what I'd give to see GSW & Curry, win the big One, in back to back years, and MVP as well.....

GS still undefeated at home, incredible so far, effing incredible....

Curry's averaging 10ea, 3PTA, per game, while averaging 5ea- 3 pointers per game, approx 50%, and I'll take that any day or night....

This kid is the Barry Sanders of the NBA. He doesn't show off, he doesn't celebrate obnoxiously, or like a kid or showboat would, .....

as they said about Barry Sanders, when Barry scored a TD, and who never once celebrated in the end zone, "He plays and acts like he's been there before"....... man I love that line....! and style of play..!
 
^^^In full agreement Rob, those that are that good already know it, they don't need to showboat.

Indeed Rick, you watch more NBA than I, these days, yet I cannot NOT watch Golden State when they're on.....Curry is a true treat to watch, love his style, or way he plays the game, the old fashioned Oscar Robertson way....

16 more games at home, and I pray the Warriors don't lose a one of them......:smiley-drzifige::smiley-pray:

I've been disenchanted for about 10 years now. I love the game. But following pro sports is becoming increasingly difficult for me to even relate to these guys anymore, much less root for them. All of them.

I don't. No one from the bio genesis suspensions was from a failed test. The chemists still way ahead of the testers. I rest my case.

Btw guys just wanted to let you know that The Warriors are on National TV tonight, ABC Channel 7. I think they start at 8:30 pm.

I'm sure you remember the "ROCKY" movies with Sylvester Stallone, well this is the latest one in that line only instead of a fighter, in this one Stallone plays the manager of a fighter.

Yeah Rick I saw the first one but I was never a big fan of movies the last one I saw was Premonition with Sandra Bullock in 2007 and it scared the shit out of me and never watched another movie again. Btw the Warriors are losing at Halftime.
