I think some of the most vocally outspoken against banning should step up to the plate and be mods.

You see, what Denny forgets is my biggest complaint is the double standard. Which honestly is a lot of peoples complaint. That is why I would be the best mod ever. But I want some one to mod, so make it somewhere people actually are

But most people can tell when you've crossed a line or you're simply pushing it. In the context of the playful banter going back-and-forth, the pic without the words maybe, at most, pushes the line. With the goofy pic, it's pretty clear it's humor. No pic, and maybe adding "whore" or name-calling to the end of the text would probably be over the line, as it probably clouds up the exchange and makes some posters wonder whether it's still playful banter or whether it's starting to get personal.

Cmeese was given a 24hr suspension to cool off. Unfortently there is not a suspension designation in the software. Only bans with different lengths of time. The software says he was given a 24hr ban. We call it suspension.

This is already being discussed in 2 other threads but this is what happened, Cmeese first posted that PapaG had sand in his vagina. I deleted the post and politely asked Cmeese to stop via PM. He replied back and pointed out that PapaG insulted him too. I told him I saw that (I had already deleted the insult) but that he still needed to stop with the personal insults. After that he decided to post that PapaG has aids. Nate saw the post, deleted it and gave him a 24hr suspension.

Seems reasonable to me. If you can't play by the rules, perhaps you shouldn't be here.

Would seem to me based on some of his posted content that he suffers from boredom.

It's apparent after the million times people have tried to explain it to you that you're not going to understand, or you're just going to keep pushing on it. I have nearly as little filter as anyone on this board, but I can still figure out what pushes the line and what crosses it. Some people don't have that ability I suppose.

This board is getting worse and worse. There's as many posts bashing other posters and complaining about the moderation as there are about all other topics combined. It's funny that the people constantly complaining about people being banned and sent away are the ones whose complaining is actually pushing posters away. Irony at its' finest.

Please stop with modding sob story. We get it; you're terribly underappreciated. "Nobody knows, the trouble I seen..."

If you want me to be a mod, then I'll do it. However, I'll be the laziest ass mod this forum has ever seen. Mostly because I just don't care. I generally try to steer a discussion toward the topic at hand and either add a smart ass remark or occasionally offer my thoughts. Other than that, if people want to get into pissing matches, it doesn't bother me.

It sounds like MM is more interested, however.
