another reason baseball is dumb

Another reason why the MLB is dumb... not the sport of baseball. There's so many things wrong with that league, and yet their officiating is still better than the NBA.

Thanks for illustrating my point. An NBA official never would have come out publicly and admitted that he had completely blown the call, nor would he have been so apologetic.

I really only need one reason to hate it ... it bores me to tears. What else is there?

I love baseball, but 1994 ruined the sport for me. We shouldn't pretend, however, that there aren't plenty of owners in plenty of other sports that don't operate the same way.

Baseball is the worst thing in the world!!!!

I love baseball. Still go up and watch the Mariners play. That said, steroids has taken a lot of my respect for the game away. Especially the arrogant attitude of the players. I don't care who they are- the players who tested + for steroids should have their records and stats expunged and be ineligible for the HOF.

What happened in 1994? Do other leagues have a community pool they share money for?

AND the right team still won the game. That's doesn't always happen in the NBA.

I love baseball no matter what month.

This is like the people who hate to watch golf.

Plus while the Ump make a wrong call, the players still have most of the control. Unless the home plate ump has some fucked up strike-zone. Plus the player swings the bat, not the ump.

And it's harder to make a call on a ball coming at the plate 90+ KPH that's hits the outside corner. Not like calling a slap on the wrist

I tried to get into baseball again for the first time in over a decade... but it didn't last long. The game is too slow. I think would be good sport to go with family and friends to the park... but to watch a baseball without being able to fast forward is just too much to ask of my attention span. I tapes Mariner games at the begining of the year, but even that got old fast.

Baseball is a game of gentlemen.

NBA is a gathering of thugs.

Please read first post. K thx

Lol I did read it, I was just stating my opinion on the topic "baseball is dumb"

Pirates are shitty anyway, let them pocket money.

NHL > NFL > MLB > AHL > CFL > CHL > NBA....

Sorry...
NHL > NFL > MLB > AHL > CFL > CHL > MLS> NBA....

I love baseball.

Grew up playing baseball, in a baseball family. I think that has a lot to do with it. An apprectiation for the game at an early age.

Baseball is a cool sport. I like basketball and, especially, football more, but baseball is like comfort food...it's always relaxing and comfortable to go back to. I did a lot of homework, in grade school, high school and college, while watching baseball games. It has a good pace for doing something else and looking up for the pitch.

Sadly, steroids were the only thing that made baseball truly interesting.

An NBA owner, say someone like....oh I don't know......Donald Sterling, would never put money ahead of winning.

Baseball is a great game. Not even Selig and steroids can ruin it.

Personally I don't like watching golf, hell, never even went to the Dinah Shore Classic*, but have no beef with those who do. It's harmless.
