Wow.

I won't be in the Bay Area for this game, but my wife's from Sacramento and we might be down there Valentine's Day weekend for that game.

thanks for the invite!

Hey Brian, going to the game at Sacto?

Not this year. We try to schedule a trip or two a year to go down there, partially b/c Christmas and Thanksgiving are mandatory at my Grandma's in Portland, and this year Portland's done with Sac in December, iirc.

We came down last month...we had a prematurely-born niece that only lived a week, so Sarah and I went down to help out the family for a few days. We hit up Tahoe and San Fran in the same week.

This is ridiculous.

"BenDavis503" reminds me of that episode of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia (called "Charlie goes America over everybody's ass") where the gang realize that freedom (like the freedom this forum offers over the previous forum) is overrated because there's always some sick fuckwit who spoils it. I shall forever picture him/her/it as:

Wow. BenDavis is either having a REALLY BAD DAY, having a really stupid sense of humor, or is someone that I'd rather not have associated with being a Blazer fan.

Hasn't he been doing this for a long time now?

You know I've never put my opinion out on the whole "homosexual thing". I think people should be allowed to do what they want. I'll admit, I don't like Crand's avatars, but she's not breaking any laws. I have a HUGE penis, a VERY happy and beautiful wife, two great kids and a dream job. As long as 2 people of the same sex hook up and it doesn't effect those 5 things I mentioned, I'm cool with it!

I'll most likely be going . . . but since it is a last minute thing, we're trying to nab some tickets off of Craigslist (I never realize how many tickets are available on there)!

Probably won't have time to go anywhere afterwards though as I've got three very little ones to get home to and my hall pass is only good for about 4-5 hours tomorrow.

Dammit, I missed Ben's meltdown.

Seriously...Ive been wating for him to go off the really really really deep end and I missed it! I feel jipped. All the mods should make a thread with the posts they edited minus crandacs name and the really bad slurs.

I love it.

I'll be there crandc! If we can get a few of us together I'd love to have a drink post victory. Will you still be the lady with the huge camera under the hoop?

crandc, did you ever get any satisfaction for your mistreatment by the arena personnel last year?

HPC, your wife told me she gave you one of those trick rulers that they give to fishermen for gag gifts.

Those inch marks are actually centimeters.:biglaugh:

Oracle looks like a fun place to catch a game. I hope y'all have a great time tomorrow.

Ya, just don't get mugged in the parking lot by angry Raider fans!

LOL - seriously.

Raider fan . . . probably only bested by Phillie fans but only because they have a jail built into their stadium. I'm guessing the only reason the Oakland Coliseum doesn't have an in-house jail is because Al is wasting all his money on overpaid, underacheiving talent year after year. One order of D'Angelo Hall to go, anyone?

Living down here, it's oh so enjoyable to hear endless Raider fans calling the local shows saying how this next coming year is when they'll finally get good again, that the only reason they haven't been good is because the entire world is conspiring against them to keep them down, this last draft was great, this next coach will be The One, blah blah blah.

But even as diehard, errrr, blind as most of them are, they've been so miserably bad for so many years in a row now that even Raider fan finally realizes how hopeless their situation is that fewer and fewer of them are going to the games.

That said, Raider fan, the above was not written by me so if you see me at the Warriors game on Tuesday please don't beat me down and piss on my Blazer jersey with me in it!!!

Now he can spend more time with Roddy Pipers daughter and listen to all the garbage hip hop that he wants.

After having been kicked out because I had the same camera I'd brought for years, I don't even try to bring it in anymore. Unfortunately I have a late meeting at work so won't be getting there much before tip off. I'm wearing my Blazer shirt with Portland Trail Blazers in Hebrew and my courtside cap. Anyone want to name a section we can all meet after the game? I can't remember exactly where my seat is, I think section 102 row 14. Stomp, where are you sitting? I can migrate there afterwards and so can anyone else.

As for Ben Davis, take out the really bad slurs, DaRizzle, and there's nothing left. Maybe a comma.

Hispanic, I have no intention of stealing your wife, kids, or penis.

It isn't. It is a crap-hole, the fans aren't fun to be around, and they do so many cheesy gimmicks to get the crowd into the game (more cheesy than other places). Every time I go to a game there, it makes the Rose Garden seem so much better. It is worth putting up with to watch the Blazers though.

Agree, and it seems the staff stay up late at night trying to find new ways to keep fans from enjoying themselves. Food is ghastly and the lines so long, I went once at half time to get a sandwich. By the time I was at the front of the line there was no food left at all and the 3rd quarter was almost all done. But we can't bring anything in, not even water. They were the ones who said my cakes were a terrorist threat. No picture taking, very limited autograph seeking. Security once stopped a player from signing a child's ball because his ticket was upper level and upper level patrons are not allowed lower down. The player was walking over to the kid and the security guard stopped him and made the kid leave the courtside area. Plus, the Warriors hold back the best seats until the last minute, so you either wait until game time in hopes of getting a good seat, but not knowing if you will, or buy in advance, get told there is nothing close, then see hundreds of empty seats in front of you!
