On the search for both Hitting Coach and 1B Coach positions? Haven't seen much, anything in the local news back east?

Maybe they are waiting for AROD to retire and take a coaching slot, lol!

What is he going to do? Tell them not to do roids in his best LT (a LA The Water Boy) impersonation?

...the hitting coach is an integral part of every team.

...without googling, name the hitting coaches of the last 4 WS champs.

1- Ooops

2- Doh

3- Watch the Ball

4- wait for it

Your point is very legit, "Without Googling".....a great Q....!!

And I can guarantee the next 4 won't be named Kevin Long either.

Why don't the Yankees just give Long a call, tell him he has a lifetime contract because hitting coaches aren't the problem and its a position which doesnt require accountability and doesn't make much of a difference either way and you might as well be the one to hang over the dugout railing chuckling along and writing books.

Oh, and by the way Kevin, we're not interested in any other applicants with experience who are willing to take this position which requires very little accountability for just a little less salary.

OKAY?

...wow, that's really going out on a limb...and I guarantee you can't name the next 4 either.

...seems to me that you're more concerned with who the hitting coach will be than the Yanx are.

...the job "doesn't require accountability"?

Concerned, nah just curious. After Cash did the denial two step on Thames.....figured this was a topic ripe for discussion.
