Let's have some real talk here for a moment BC, you aren't one of those people that thinks that a whitey wearing a kimono makes them racist, are you?
It depends on the context. EVERYTHING depends on the context.
OH SHIT MOTHERFUCKER! Goddammit I got into a fistfight over which show was better, B5 or DS9 (I was the B5 fanboy in our group of nerds)... how could I forget that?!
This is more about bored, angry mobs than -isms. I think the mob is useful, but hard to control. Putting the mob to good use can be done, though.
I regret I can only like this once. That was my argument right before it went to fisticuffs.

I agree, and I agree with you on more things than what you probably think, I'm just really tired of this "outrage culture" where everything is offensive now.
And I apologize for ruining this thread and coming off as a lunatic.
That's funny. I remember two guys in high school arguing which show as better, Seinfeld or Martin. They came pretty damn close to duking it out.
Martin?

Dude it's fine. I reacted poorly to some well-intended jibes.
Together we have made this the greatest nerd thread in RC2 history!

Outrage culture isn't just the province of bored milennial women, though... the Gamergate assholes have quite a nice bit of horrific outrage.
I think "sjw" is a funny term that makes people froth at the mouth when someone calls them it, but it does seem to be very over used these days.
It confuses me. Making fun of someone because they want social justice? I mean what the fuck? Do people really not want justice? That's like mustache twirling villain talk.
It's a funny internet meme directed at neckboard keyboard slacktivists, or that's the way I take it at least.
What are your thoughts on Farscape. Remember that there is a correct answer to this question.![]()
I think I stopped watching after the 2nd or 3rd season, can't remember why. I should probably go back and watch it.
Have you seen Dark Matter on SyFy? It's Canadian and a complete rip off of Firefly but it's actually pretty good.
Let's be honest here... Being a mustache twirling villain would be the funnest occupation in the world. It's why Meyers is growing his out. #baleedatIt confuses me. Farscape is awesome.
