I voted Martin....current leader @ 19%

To borrow a line: "while others may suggest that public perception of a player’s value does not always match demand or teams’ valuations. And then, of course, there is the nearly impossible-to-gauge element of non-monetary player considerations."

This is and will always be my own personal problem. Players these days are I'd say 99% blinded, by becoming commodities....I'll say it again:

Commodities.....!

I can still hear Willie Mays saying, "Hey they pay me for playing a game I love to play the most" ( All for the Love Of The Game)....

Or-Robin ~ "Fan Fav" ~ Yount: "I will take less money as a FA, to end my career where it started, for My Fans, and for the Team"....How often does one ever hear that?

1- I believe Martin is going to stay on the top of this heap.

2- McCarthy, (damn him for leaving NY, he may not find the success in Chavez Ravine)..

3- Billy Butler, really someone actually gave him more than a 1 or 2 year deal, for how much???? You gotta' be kdding me, Butler has seen his prime fly by him a couple years ago. 1 of Billy Bobs non-monetary hidden gifts is: a full time membership to Weight Watchers, as long as he's on the Team.

4- Hanley "fk off-head case" Ramirez.....I am damn happy he's no longer a Bum, picking his nose while the ball is in play. The Bosox will realize by mid season, they made a huge mistake, as Hanley spends more time on the bench than on the field. While He flaunts that $22 Mil, a year contract.....for part time services of course.

Hanley used to be able to carry a Team on his back for a month with his Bat. Not any more tho'....I believe the Bosox thought they were getting the Marlins version of Hanley. That guy died a long time ago. Turned into an older Puig Version off the field....

Martin got my vote followed by McCarthy & then Robertson....
