Mags -- I'm in the Seattle area and know the local tech startup world pretty well. Keep in mind that while the main hub for companies is downtown (South Lake Union to Pioneer Square), there are also areas outside of town worth taking a look at. Redmond, Bellevue and Kirkland all have a fair number of companies. There's also a biotech/med device cluster up in Bothell (which is where I work.) Your company is ag-based, if I remember right, and I think Bothell could be a pretty good fit with the companies around there. Definitely feel free to send a pm if you want more scoop.
Edit: traffic's an issue in certain areas and not others. I live in Seattle near the zoo and commute up to Bothell (15 miles or so) pretty easily. Mornings are never a problem. The way home is bad only if there's a big event and sometimes on Fridays when the the suburb people invade.

I don't smoke pot, I do psychedelics. Some may want to classify weed as a psychedelic, but it's mainly psychoactive mood enhancer.
