That would be a decent group for Stotts to coach assuming Mitchell stays?

Sounds like Garland wants to be a lead guard so they probably have to trade him or Mitchell. That would be a decent group for Stotts to coach assuming Mitchell stays?

Allen and Mobley also clog up the middle so it's probably better to trade one.
They should be able to get some very good wings back in trades so if Stotts did coach them it would be more talent than he ever had in Portland except possibly just before Wes Matthews achilles snapped.
I wanted Terry gone and don't regret it but...Stotts is the Tucker Carlson of coaching.
Leading candidate for dumbest post of all time. The guy only got us to the playoffs how many times??? And comparing a good human being like Terry Stotts to a pile of human shit like Tucker Carlson is just plain stupid (and wrong) on so many levels. Very glad you aren’t part of Trailblazer management.Stotts is the Tucker Carlson of coaching.

Fact remains you didn’t use green font and the comparison was pretty bad.Maybe I should have put it in green font. I was merely comparing their abilities to rock a bow tie. Please, calm down.

Bro. You ever meet Coach Stotts? That’s a good dude. You gotta think before you type.Stotts is the Tucker Carlson of coaching.
Stotts made the most of the cards he was handled. Olshey failed usThe team seemed better coached under Stotts, but that's not saying much.
Billups contract ends after this season. Wouldn't surprise me at all, and I might even say it's most likely both team and Billups mutually decided to go in different directions.I liked Stotts but it was also time for him to go but right now if you told me he would replace Billups for one year while Cronin and co. did it's due diligence to look for a new coach I would be all for it . These new assistants might help some but part of me wonders if this move is like the old saying -- putting lip stick on a pig and in the end might be a little better but was it really worth all the effort.
Deserves it's own thread. Stotts is on the mt Rushmore of Blazers coaches with Dr Jack and Adelman. 4th I'd probably put Mike Dunleavy then Mr Sonic. Maurice Cheeks gets an honorable mention from his Anthem assist which may be the best moment I've ever seen of an NBA head coach.
There is only 2 coaches who should be on the "Mt Rushmore" of Blazer coaches. Jack and Rick.

Quiet, that's where they are. Some fickle fans in here. Sometimes you don't know what we have till it's gone. This forum does what it does best, complain and look for a scapegoat, every damn season!Where is the, “Anybody is better than Stotts” crew?
So Anthony Irwin is saying Stotts was offered a job with the Lakers multiple times and has turned them down.Where is the, “Anybody is better than Stotts” crew?
Nah, the level of negativity in here is on a different level imo...When you look at social media for other teams, it's mainly positive.I was never an anti Scotts person. I will say I miss Stotts in game management to get the W. I do not miss his load management which brought more early season wins over late. Long term player development suffered. Now....we have exactly the opposite.
The negativity here is not unique. It's everywhere. It is today's self important view of sports. "I deserve better".
