I just saw an advance copy of the movie Odd Thomas that's coming out in September. If you read the books you know how different and spooky they are. I never imagined they'd actually turn it into a movie and if they did that it would be any good.

Well they did and it was awesome! 8.5/10! A really well done retelling of the book. For those of you who have no idea what the hell I'm talking about I'm not sure if you'll like the movie. It follows the first book surprisingly closely.

The casting was perfect. Hopefully it does good at the box office because I'd love to see some of the other books in the series made into movies.

My wife likes Koontz a lot. She's read all is books and is reading his latest one now. I don't think she knows one of his Odd Thomas books has been made into a movie.

I'm a avid reader, but mainly sci fi and fantasy. I'm not into thrillers that much. If you love to read try the Galactic Mage. It's sci fi and fantasy combine. Excellent read. The first book is a stand alone book, but he came out with two more and I'm waiting for the fourth and final book. Anyone read that book?

yeah, I have read all the books, I enjoy his style and humor. Like in the latest book, Odd is wearing a Mysterytrain ball cap, and the references to Moonlight Bay (obvious Christopher Snow reference)

I will have to see this movie

I never really got into Koontz, but maybe I should give it a try
