I believe they are. I was brought up in the Catholic church and all these people that went to classes with me drank and did none Christian things and they went to church. You can't even get most christians to go to church anymore. Thoughts?

It's a stupid religion that emphasizes rituals and strict standards over actually learning about God and becoming a better Christian, that's why.

If that is what Christianity taught maybe I would still go to church.

I really dont know much about Catholic views. But I would say they dont follow up to their hype. Jim Gaffigan will explain why on his old Comdey Central Presents. I would say a good 90% of Catholics I personally know, my age, and also adults are more agressive on drinking and smoking(But could be just my observation). I thought Catholics were straight about that crap

Not to affend anyone. But does anyone under stand mass????Ahhhhhhhh, deshhhhhhhhhhhhh, wannnnnnnnnnn

Yes, Catholic churches are a joke. There's plenty of more relaxed and friendly churches where you actually learn something though. Peopl just go to Catholic churches because it involves no effort and it makes them feel good for going to church, even if they learned nothing and didn't mature at all as a Christian.

And the whole thing about Mary is a joke. I think that Catholisicsm or however you spell it.

They worship Saints and not God, which is ridiculous. Also, there's no mention of purgatory in the Bible.
