Are the Blazers good or is everyone else we've played trash?

Every team in that graphic, except the one just below us, has a losing record….
That's because the season is still young and the SOS is skewed by your own record.

The Lakers 2-9 record means their opponents have 12 more wins than the Blazer's opponents (at 8-3) just because of the records. That differential skews the rankings.

Blazers are this high because they've played the Suns 3 times too.

Yep. Because we’re one of the only teams to beat them, the schedule stays strong for us. I hate the SOS stat.

This is because if you lose to teams, they then have a better record. That is why Lakers and Rockets have played the “strongest schedule. If we had lost all 3 games to Phoenix, our schedule would be considered stronger.

Gee. Thanks for explaining the obvious. But considering we’re 9-3 and all the teams above us have shit records, Dallas is okay, and #10 isn’t very good…. We’re doing really well.

It just hurts.....

We’re not even at our best yet. My question is, when is Ant’s shot going to come back?

uh cleveland looks like a contender with mitchell
I put Bucks, Celtics, and Hawks above them. They don’t have much playoff experience (they lost the play-in last year) and Mitchell has a lot to prove.
