12 points 8 assists, 1 steal, 1 turnover, 5-11 from the field. Sounds like a showcase to me ... showcasing just how awesome he is :wink:
 
if we make a major move .....Bayless will have to be included along with Travis...face it. Bayless has more trade value than Frye,Sergio,and the rest..our major trading chips are RLEC.Bayless and Outlaw! Contary to some of the trade ideas We have read on here the other GMs arent idiots...no one is going to give us something for nothing..So whats your poison?

A guy like Richard Jefferson won't cost Bayless.

A guy like Caron Butler will cost Bayless.

So it depends on the deal.

HOWEVER, if it's a smaller deal, then Sergio is the one more likely to go.

Man, I want to keep Bayless!! I love his game, and we need people who take the ball to the hoop. If we had to trade Bayless to get someone, I'd be tempted to just forget about it.
 
my poison? Bayless is probably desirable, but do you seriously think that it's going to take Bayless included in a trade to get back value in a defensive wing? RLEC, Travis, Ike's expiring deal, Channing's expiring deal, Martell, Batum, Sergio, these are our "movable" assets in pursuit of a starting quality 3. Nice try at creating a false dilemma though.
 
I dont see it as a false dilema..again is what you want..

Martell has no value..he has been hurt.

Sergio has been up and down.

Channing hasnt played...neither has Ike.

Those pieces arent going to get us the names we have heard about..that will take Bayless and Outlaw!

By himself, he won't get you anything, but as a throw in, you might be able to convince another team.

Facts? Don't you mean your opinions? Truth is nobody outside of KP and the trading parther's Gm knows exactly what it's going to take to land a particular player, but RLEC is a huge chip, when you are talking about getting a wing it's likely that the trading partner is going to want a wing in return, so Travis and Batum's names are more likely to come up than a rookie point guard.

We get it, you're a big Sergio honk, and want Jerryd moved so the cult doesn't have to pick up stakes and move to another team.
 
I agree with You B-roy about a smaller deal not costing us either Baylees or Outlaw..guys like Kurt Thomas or Ime. But the names we keep talking about are Caron Butler...Richard Jefferson..Vince Carter...Deng....Rudy Gay. We cant expect to get those guys without giving up Bayless or Outlaw.
 
I think they're showcasing Oden. Since he's been declared a bust we should try and get Conley for him.

Honestly....I think we can get all of those players except Butler, without the use of Bayless.

If I was a Sergio HONK i would not pay Baylees the respect I did by stating he had much more Trading Value than Sergio!

I would prefer a cut Rodriguez before I would want a trade Bayless scenario

At this point, I don't see any reason to trade Bayless short of getting a proven veteran winner in return. The guy is just so strong on the court and can get pretty much whereever he wants. Why trade that at this point?

No im kool..I respect different thoughts..my point was we all throw out different trade ideas that usually favor our team and not the trading team...my thought was it takes something to get something .

And you were right when you siad we dont know...only KP and the other guy knows..

Sure, if Portland aims at a player like Butler, Bayless would be necessity to be dealt. Jefferson is not as good as Butler and is paid more. His value is much lower.

this was a post in jest, to get back at some who thought sergio was being showcased sunday but i think you hit the nail on the head. we don't need both PGs to be great, we just need one to be hot and roll with them.

so what about a gerald wallace? i'm sorry but i've cooled on the idea of a jefferson type player coming in. we have enough guys that give us his skill set with youth. if we can't pull a butler/wallace type than i hope we do nothing.
 
I'm so hesitant on giving up on Jerryd right now if we do trade him. He's really going to be a special backcourt mate for Brandon when he gets a little more experience. The game still seems to be going a little fast for him, but when he really gets comfortable and gets his jumper going.... man, he's going to be scary.
