BTW the American version "Elementary" is actually pretty good but the show hangs on by how much you like Holmes and Watson and doesn't have too much besides them to make the show anything more then any of the other murder mystery shows on TV. I am disappointed to find out that the making of the show was kind of shady and in part to try and copy the success of the BBC show. I'm going to have to watch the BBC version now.

Just a weird question that popped into my head since Mooks mentioned how disinterested his wife is in the Blazers. Does anyone else have a spouse who doesn't care or even hates basketball and what is the most ridiculous thing they have done/said to you after your pissed off at a Blazers loss?

My wife once kicked me out of the house for a night after I was pissed we lost to the Suns in the playoffs, and she made me stop drinking beer and watching Blazer games.

I don't watch much up to date TV so the most i'd heard of the show before this thread was my mom comparing the CBS and BBC versions last year and it was just a quick comparison. After reading so many good comments about the show i'll definitely check it out soon.

But at least she saw the logic in allowing me to have a man cave. I watch all Duck football games in it by myself. I will answer a text, or my cell to only my very best Duck friends. And only if we are up.

Hopefully the Blazers will get back to being contenders again and I can get back to being an ass (Per my wife) an extra 90 times a year.

This is a great thread. To answer the question I think it's more corny then losers. I've only been posting a year or two here and I've already heard the HCP wife joke 1000 times almost every day. It's not funny. Kingspeed deserves to be a moderator in my opinion. Make this place more interesting. I feel it's way to plain. I agree that it is not interesting when people post the same tired shit over and over. They should really try mixing it up a little.
