AROUND THE 2024 NBA PLAYOFFS: Eastern & Western Conference Finals

Gafford and PJ Washington were just great moves by the Dallas front office. You gotta have balls to make the trades man. Blazers just don’t ever pull the trigger man. It’s frustrating
I recently totured myself by clicking on a 2022/23 Jacked Ramsey's podcast. Marang spent a half hour pouring over the tremendous skillset of Keon Johnson.

Keon can play, he just can't shoot sometimes. Hopefully he'll find a niche on the Nets. He needs run to get confidence up, and a shooting coach that can loosen him up.

... anyways, Portland has a Kevin Bacon system of excuses. *Powell got traded for Keon and injured Bledsoe buyout, and a pick! *That pick helped to land Jerami Grant !! *Then the pick became Marcus Sasser, who isn't all that, you know. *But if Sasser gets better then Keon Johnson, he can help Detroit win more games, which might improve the Blazers ping pong percentages (Kevin Bacon) !!!

It's hard to be good. It's meh to be mediocre. To get really bad in the NBA, now that is the most difficult challenge. The first thing that's gotta go is fans. Clear a path through the complainers, there's excessive losing on tap.

I believe Dallas is the favorites for the first time in this series. It's only 2 points, but i suppose casinos got sick of the Mavs burning a hole in payouts.

Kyrie & PJ shooting 1-8, T-wolves playing solid D

silly fouls and whoopsy turnovers by Wolves. Dallas erases 12 point Sota lead.

nail biter, Timberwolves getting in foul trouble, 8 minutes to go.

Mavs brickin' 3's

the Mavs WCF trophy will have to wait for another day

T-Wolves were down 3-2 to Denver, won 2 straight to take the series. Can Minnesota win 3 in a row against Dallas?? The 0-3 curse has yet to be broken.

This wouldn't be the first time Dallas has been pushed to a game 7 after taking a 3-0 lead. I'm here for the Wolves doing it.

This win just avoids a sweep, but losing in 5 is still not competitive.

If Minnesota can win game 5 it'll make this a real series.

That would put a lot of pressure on Dallas. Yeah 3-0 teams are 154-0 or whatever - but one of these years were gonna see a team do it.

Eventually it would seem so but my feeling on this is Dallas gets this in 6.

WCF is overdue for a blowout. Game 5 will be won by double digits and won't be close

Timberwolves are 5 point favorites tonight. Everyone thinks the Mavs are gonna get clobbered.

KAT found his shot
Rudy is Gobert-nating
Conley is playing Aces
Edwards reclaimed his Specimen powers, the David Robinson of guards.

the only problem with hyping up Minnesota is... you can't ignore how well Dallas is closing games. Can the Mavs 2 All-Star guards, hard working role players, and smart coaching, put the finishing touch on this series tonight??

That is the key for sure. Mavs just need to keep it close. I still pick Minn tonight and Dallas in 6.

Yep.

Dallas winning the NBA Finals would be inspirational to more teams.

If the template for winning is Boston, not many team can assemble what they have done

This makes Jokics run last year very impressive, like 2011 Dirk
