I wish our Blazers had a championship with an asterisk next to it.

Referring to himself as the chosen one, is a little over the top.Just don't understand the hate. Why people have to hate other's success.

I wouldn't mind more. The Blazers have one without an asterisk.
I don't hate his success. I'm put off by just about everything else about him. He's just too phony.Just don't understand the hate. Why people have to hate other's success.
Apparently, no one blocked shots in MJ’s era! This is one of the worst takes I've ever heard. MJ would have averaged well over 40 ppg in this era of no handchecking, every hard foul getting a flagrant and any contact getting a whistle for the scorer. Just an absolutely clueless opinion. It's far easier to score in today's NBA and Jordan is the most gifted scorer in the history of the game Wilt was more imposing but Jordan was and is the most gifted.
The inference that Jrue, Giannis and BroLo are somehow harder to score against than the Bad Boy Pistons, the Knicks of that era or just about any team of that era is preposterous. I don't know if Jason Williams just didn't watch basketball back then or if he has a hard time making comparisons but scoring is up in the league and efficiency in scoring is up in the league because the defenses have to play softer and people get easier trips to the stripe. Just shaking my head on this one.
Same here. LeBron’s overall numbers will make a case but Jordan was a killer.MJ is the best I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen a lot.
He’s a great father and husband. Puts dozens of kids through college every year.I don't hate his success. I'm put off by just about everything else about him. He's just too phony.

Cool. Putting dozens of kids through school is a great tax write off and cheap publicity. Comes off as phoney. He’s a great father and husband. Puts dozens of kids through college every year.
WOW!!! This is a twisted fucked up way of seeing things. How synical and ignorant do you have to be to write off LeBron's amazing philanthropic endeavors as a phoney cheap publicity stunt?Cool. Putting dozens of kids through school is a great tax write off and cheap publicity. Comes off as phoney.
I don't think being a great father and husband is overly notable. That just means he's not scum.
I'd hate to have him involved with the Blazers.
I appreciate your take. I just get a bad vibe off of him, and him spending a very small percent of his money on things he publicly broadcasts doesn't change that.WOW!!! And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Charitable donations are not cheap tax write offs, people don't have to pay taxes on the money they donate but they don't get that money back either. There are a ton of better ways that I'm sure LeBron is using to shield himself from paying taxes on money he uses for himself but philanthropy isn't one of them. Unless you have some proof that he's getting money back from the charities he's funding but I doubt you have proof of anything like that. You're just nonsensically trying to downplay good things that someone you don't like has done and it's pretty sad.
Wow. Well I've worked with him 3 separate times and can say that he is a genuinely decent dude. Family first with him. Dealing with NBA players for 20 years now, I can attest to that quality is not the norm. That scores points with me. Funny thing is, my only 2 interactions with Curry....he and his brother were pricks!I appreciate your take. Sorry, it just comes off as phoney to me. Everything about him strikes me wrong. It has nothing to do with his success. I love Steph Curry and and many other players. But I can't stand LeBron or people who act the way he does.
Again, I'd hate to have him on this team. I'd root for him to succeed while he was here, like it did with Melo. But I'd be counting the days until he were gone.
Glad you enjoyed him! His public behavior turns me off.Wow. Well I've worked with him 3 separate times and can say that he is a genuinely decent dude. Family first with him. Then you would have hated MANY players on your beloved Blazers over the years.Glad you enjoyed him! His public behavior turns me off.
