Apparently he isn't good enough to get a roster spot with OKC? Practice body at best.
Yeah, when I saw that we signed him to a training camp deal I watched a bunch of video on the young guy and like I said, he moves really well on both ends, he can make open threes and when he's engaged he has good timing both when rebounding and when protecting the rim... he also doesn't make a lot of mistakes. He did seem to check out of the game at time last season with OKC but that would obviously be something he'd be looking to show was situational while he's here in training camp.

Out of everyone we've picked up on an exhibit 10 deal, he's the one I'd like to see us plug into that second two way spot. We need another big body and he happens to be one who also has the ability to do a lot of things that I like.

If you're interested in learning about the Raptors as well as a bit of a discussion on the Blazers and whether certain defensive schemes can work in the NBA, I had an awesome conversation with Samson Folk of Raptors Republic. It would mean a lot if you checked it out!

OT: Becky Hammond with some clutch coaching calls.

The Athletic is ranking every team’s offseason. They revealed 21-30 and we were not on it. I wonder if they consider Dame coming back to be part of our offseason. In which case, we may be top 10.

They probably have us 12-15

Anyone know what's going on with the rumor that two expansion teams will be announced during Clippers preseason games in Seattle?

KPTV reported this morning that the NBA could be announcing the expansion of 2 teams. One in Seattle and One in Vegas. Don't know who their source is.
I think it makes sense to have the two new teams start playing in Fall of 2025 because that's when the new TV deal starts but maybe they'll want those markets established for a year by then. If it's not until 2025, I can't see the league announcing now but they definitely could if it's for 2024-25.

Looks like the NBA wants to announce it during preseason.

Seattle will be the Supersonics again.

Las Vegas should be the Luck.

Hear me out on this…How about the “Hookers”

They can change their name to the hook shotters down the road when people protest the name.

“LeBron James’ Las Vegas Hookers”

“…Lebrons Hookers off to a tough start to their franchise”

“…The hookers let down their owner LeBron James yet again”

I don't think that will make it through.

If it happens I would like to see 24-25. Either way - I would really love to see this happen.

I’m sure it will be really nice to fly to Seattle and Vegas twice a year instead of Memphis/Minnesota.

The thunder would be the only other team that would make much sense. But Memphis is definitely a candidate geographically.
Memphis or NOP should go to East.

Minny is the furthest east of any of the teams in the Western Conference. It's also way closer to Chicago, Milwaukee, Indy and Detroit than it is to Denver.

Yeah I think Minny should move to the east based on those other cities you listed. New Orleans and the Texas teams seem like a good fit. But is Minneapolis really further east than New Orleans? It does not look like it on a map or by longitude.
