I can't stand Westbrook, but I dislike Skip even more. It is one thing to call him Westbrick in this forum, or in private, but I find it
embarrassing and lame for a 70-year-old employee of ESPN to tweet it.
It is seriously classless. I wish we'd move away from the antagonistic/hot-take style of commentary. It's pretty dehumanizing. Respect isn't a bad thing.I can't stand Westbrook, but I dislike Skip even more. It is one thing to call him Westbrick in this forum, or in private, but I find it

didn't they just trade for Green? I don't think they can aggregate him and Favors to match BledsoeRandom Bledsoe idea
Portland out: Bledsoe, guaranteed, 2nd round pick or 2
In: Derrick Favors, JaMychal Green, Kenichi Williams
Get a backup 3, 4 and 5
For OKC, they pick up 2nds for Kenrich. They swap out 2 players for 1 in green and favors. OKC has a roster crunch where they basically need to move off of 5 guys before the season. This starts that process, and gives them 1 bigger expiring to carry in to the season to look for other deals.
They took him in to cap space, which means he's aggregateable. (New word?)didn't they just trade for Green? I don't think they can aggregate him and Favors to match Bledsoe
Consider me super shocked that Stotts is still without a job.
Dang
I have no idea why Denver is so frugal. They have a perennial MVP candidate and a potentially contending team. Cheap ass owners man
They're owned by the Kroene family, who while rich is notoriously cheap. They are paying 3 guys 30 million-plus, along with Gordon at 20 million.
Is that really being frugal? I don't have a problem with teams trying to stay out of the
luxury tax. Their problem was paying Porter all that money. (with his injury history)
In 5-6 years Jokic will be the new Dame.I have no idea why Denver is so frugal. They have a perennial MVP candidate and a potentially contending team. Cheap ass owners man

They had the 10th highest payroll in the league last year. a team with a two time MVP should not be pinching pennies to duck the tax, nor should they be that low on the NBA salary pecking order. .
The Porter contract was idiotic but this is the new reality in the NBA. You have to pay tax to win and downgrading talent to save $ is not a reflection of that.
denver downgrades in talent, but ducks the tax.
Willy heading to the DMV, I'm sure he's happy about that.
they wanted to get under the tax lineWhat a random shuffling of the deck. Not really sure Denver’s thought process here.
Maybe they know something about Murray and Porter that we don't. So they like their roster with Ish and KCP as a contender and a team that gets themselves out of the tax. They're owned by the Kroene family, who while rich is notoriously cheap.

Is he the same guy who built Sofi stadium and owns the Rams? He is not considered a cheap ass in LA
