Westbrook is an awful basketball player and Knicks fans know that. He would not be welcome. And why trade Randle unless you get something great in return?
I don't know if they think Randle is great anymore at the price and length of his contract. It may just be a very Norman Powellish situation for them. There's potentially 116.5M left on it over the next four seasons and I don't think the option year at 32M will sting that bad because it's after the new TV deal should kick in and the cap should shoot way up but his 2024-25 salary of 30M is a pretty good chunk if they think he'll be playing like he did this last season and not the season before.

What's crazy is that we could really use a player like Suggs. Our dribble penetration is just Siakam right now with FVV ailing. Ujiri and Webster had a ready-made guy at a position of need and nobody would've questioned the pick. They have brass balls.

Why did you think a 7 seed that barely made the playoffs would “cook” Boston? Nets are rotten to the core. All hype, no substance. I know KD was hurt but when they lost 11 straight, that is all you need to know. If you can’t win one of 11 games without your star player, you have no coaching or depth and will be eliminated from the playoffs quickly if you get there.
