He sure was.

If only it was as simple as pressuring up on Curry, the league would've adjusted to them a long time ago.
It’s not as simple as pressuring up on Curry but it is as simple as pressuring up on Curry. You have to be consistent in pressuring up on him. Horford and Grant Williams do it effectively. But Robert Williams and Theis either forget or are reluctant to do so. It’s not simple because it’s not comfortable for bigs to be covering that high on the floor.

That's where my head was at, but I found it hard to believe it's been 20 years. Especially since we've read on here that Portland has had a ton of players that are good enough to be solid role players on a championship team. If that were the case, you'd think at least ONE of them would've found their way on said championship team.

This series is coming back to the Bay Area 3-1 Boston.

The refs set the tone early in this game. They let the Warriors maul the Celtics and didn’t let the Celtics breathe on the Warriors.

I agree. Lots of holding and grabbing on drives to the hoop. Green should have picked up his 2nd T if they called it like they usually do but didn’t want to catch flack if they tossed him.

Lol @ jvg roasting bostons drop coverage

Van Gundy loves sitting in the booth criticizing. It’s an easier job than coaching and getting criticized. It’s why he left coaching young and hasn’t been back. He left around the time hand checking was outlawed.

He’s a good defensive mind but he would have been as clueless as any other coach about how to guard that team

Pat Con

9 and 5 doesn't make the cut for me as a "major producer", especially when the points are coming off teams more-or-less giving him shots so Giannis doesn't beat them.

That's as good as I think we've seen in over a decade though, which is nuts!

Nik Stauskas is on Celtics and played in 4th quarter. Pat C played on Bucks last year.

A guy who plays garbage mintues would not be considered a "major proudcer". Nor would someone average a single/single while be dared by the other team to beat them.

Honestly I don’t think Pat is a Major Producer but I don’t think they win that series without him? He stepped up and took on the starting role.
Played a solid series.

If Quinn can't get a head gig, I would love for him to take a gap year here as an assistant. Scott Brooks was largely invisible last year. Not sure what he did for Chauncey exactly.

Agree on Brooks. Though he might have been good for a rookie coach to learn a bit from?

I'm not saying you're incorrect, but how do you judge an assistant coaches impact? Without being at practice and in the film sessions, I've always had a difficult time determining an assistant coaches impact.

The Hornets are on hands and knees right now.

Prediction Klay Thompson will want traded after season, book it! Watch every time Poole doesn’t pass the ball to him he gets so frustrated, Poole has taken the shots he was use to getting.

Poole might be cheaper as well?

Scott Foster to ref game 3....shit.

I'm prolly talking with my heart here, 'cos Pat is a super cool dude, but he is such a vital contributor to what the Bucks do/need from him.
He is not a 'star' by any definition, but he is the type of guy who every team needs.

To me he's turning into a Danny Green type player. Not really a star in the league but a real good journeyman player that teams need. If the Bucks let him go he will immediately get picked up again and most likely will contribute on any team he is on.
Just seems like Green is in the playoffs every year and has a role to play no matter what team he is on.

FWIW.....
Of all the players I've met, Danny Green is one of the nicest people in the league.
I congratulated him on a wonderful career.
Good comparison.

Should we go all in on Klay?
