Two things separate Curry from Dame
1. Handles
2. Willing to work off ball to get his shot

By the way not knocking Dame just the differences in their game

If the Blazers could get their Draymond, ie Daniels out Sochan, Damian could be sold on playing more off the ball and I think he'd be even better. That's why some of us were pushing for Ben Simmons in the past.

Hoping to see more of #2 next season. Winslow was great at receiving a pass then passing right back for a better scoring opportunity à la Draymond Green.

That’s where I disagree, they are pretty close to same skill level on 3’s only difference is Curry does his with flair doesn’t make him better.
Dame is a career 37.3% shooter from 3 on 8 attempts per game. His best season, he shot 40.1% and the only time in nine seasons that he crossed the 40% threshold.

Steph is a career 42.8% shooter from 3 on 9 attempts per game. His WORST season was this past year when he shot 38%. He has been above 40% for 11 of his 13 seasons.

I don't think they're close. This probably stems a bit from the difficulty of looks Dame is getting because of reasons you mentioned (inability to play off ball), but the point remains. Dame isn't close to the kinda shooter Steph is. This is not really much of a knock: few guys are.

Dame has NBA Playoff Record for 3s in a game. Dame is best ever. Curry is flat trash. Maybe he used to be good but now he’s just empty stats and can’t hit a free throw. Dame would’ve swept Boston if he had teammates like Porter Jr and Bjelica.

It’s tough to know when you’re being serious.

Lillard and curry aren’t close really as far as shooting the ball.
I believe Dame has better percentages from 30, 35, 40 feet out. Also- Steph has to heave a shot from half court whereas Dame can shoot from half court like it's a normal midrange jumpshot.

Lets let dame lead a team to a championship before we go trying to compare the guys. I happen to agree with you on this point though. Teams do pick up Dame further out than Curry and he does seem to have better range but Curry is straight filthy accurate pealing off a screen at 24-25 ft.

Not close whatsoever.

Dame is feast or famine. Goes on these incredible hot streaks then equally goes on these notable droughts

Is Jaylen Brown really this bad at finishing at the rim? Every time he gets in the lane, it looks like he just throws up a shot hoping that it will go in.

Just watch the turnovers. 9 now for Boston, more than 15 they lose the game.

Boston back in it

This shit is so fixed.
