I hope we trade someone this season, and then sign them in the off-season when they become a FA. Maybe we could trade someone for someone we traded, like RoCo or Norm. Or trade for Larry Nance Jr, and then sign who we trade as a FA.

If anything, it shows that the teams management is consistent in their strategies.

Charles Bassey just released by 76's. Should Blazers bring him in for a tryout.

13 rebounds and 3.6 blocks per 36 in limited action with them, 63% fg. large human being.
"Among the most productive per-minute shot blockers and rebounders in college basketball last season, Bassey was a presence around the rim in Conference USA. He is not especially quick off his feet, but shows good timing blocking shots on the ball and does a terrific job rebounding his area."

OK, here is a summer league game. Shows little more skill in this one.

We have an extra roster spot and we could get him for the minimum which would leave us in just a little worse spot if we're still trying to dodge the tax (sorry just puked in my mouth a little bit) but it would give us a backup C who has some NBA experience. He's what we need behind Nurk because he can move a helluva lot better covering the perimeter when needed and he's far more polished that Sarr. I would still give Sarr the two way contract and sign Bassey immediately.

We have to remember that we're dealing with Nurk who not only has his injury history (which I'm hoping won't be a problem this season) but he's never learned how to stay out of foul trouble which I can't even hope at this point in his career is going to change and if he's in foul trouble we're fucked with the guys we have behind him currently because they're not even big power forwards.

Nurk is too slow to be effective against some matchups. Sign CB already.

Chris Bosh?
Champ Bailey?
Christie Brinkley?

Roco had 43 in a game last year too.

The guy is streaky as they come. He made 11 threes that night. (On 18 attempts) A few nights he was hot for us, but usually, he was too one-dimensional
on offense for my taste. Hart had 6 assists and 4 steals to go along with his 44.

The worst thing that would ever happen was Roco would make his first 3 for us….. Then he actually thought he was Ray Allen.
