Westbrook initiated that contact, such a bs move.

Grant's papa and uncle are shaking their heads in disgustOkc full of morons? Or just the team?
So am I at Harden getting away with that. Fucking NBA man.Grant's papa and uncle are shaking their heads in disgust
Yep, we need that cranky old post man. It's been a Blazer tradition to have one... except this season...I always wanted a player like Nene.

I miss Kaman
Ezeli would've been perfect, sadly. And I don't even mean a Kaman type. I mean a bruiser for when Nurk sits.
We got nothing even remotely like them without Nurk.Ezeli would've been perfect, sadly.
Tyson Chandler would be a nice addition.
Because the west was weaker this year. The Jazz were not a 51-win team. The Clippers were hurt all year. The Thunder are a one-man show. The Grizzlies? Meh.How the hell did Houston win 55 games?
I agree this is possible. Even with the way we have played against the warriors, I think we would be up 2-1 against everyone in the west besides maybe the spurs. But who knows...Because the west was weaker this year. The Jazz were not a 51-win team. The Clippers were hurt all year. The Thunder are a one-man show. The Grizzlies? Meh.
The Spurs aren't even that good. We beat them twice to end the season with one of those games playing scrubs. The goal next year has to be a top 3 seed.
The real goal should be to stay healthy and see what happens regardless of seed.Because the west was weaker this year. The Jazz were not a 51-win team. The Clippers were hurt all year. The Thunder are a one-man show. The Grizzlies? Meh.

Portland is not built for playoff success. Poor defense, poor shot selection. Poor depth. The real goal should be to stay healthy and see what happens regardless of seed.
Probably but we also have three draft picks to use to improve the team.Portland is not built for playoff success. Poor defense, poor shot selection. Poor depth.
Yep. Do 3 mid to late picks help us next year, the year after, 2-3 years? Do we trade them for a top rotation player? Doesn't help our depth.Probably but we also have three draft picks to use to improve the team.
The real goal is to keep the trio of Dame/CJ/Nurk together as we had a great record when all three were healthy together.
At least it's a deep draft, so our chances of landing a rotation players is better than in other years. Our depth should improve when Davis is back and if we can deal Meyers for anybody.Yep. Will be interesting this offseason
Yes, which is a reason we need to change our coaching staff.Portland is not built for playoff success. Poor defense, poor shot selection. Poor depth.
I wonder what Bennett would do with Nurk. I don't watch Virginia play so I don't know how he uses bigs.Yes, which is a reason we need to change our coaching staff.
I'd be looking at the following college coaches if I were Olshey/Allen.
Sean Miller - Arizona
Tony Bennet - Virginia
Shaka Smart - Texas
As well as the following assistants:
Ime Udoka - Spurs
Ettore Messina - Spurs
Juwan Howard - Heat
Tony Bennett would be the perfect hire in my opinion. A former NBA player who's father invented "Pack Line Defense". He's been an excellent defensive coach at Virginia, and runs a smooth motion offense. He's continually developed good players and good teams despite having no All-American recruits. Malcolm Brogdon is a perfect example of a Tony Bennett type player.
Dude would be a great NBA Head Coach.
Every competent coach would post up Nurkic, so I'd look at how Nurkic would fit in basic offensive sets.I wonder what Bennett would do with Nurk. I don't watch Virginia play so I don't know how he uses bigs.
