If you think Westbrook deserves the MVP for the fact he has taken a team that many thought would suck and is overachieving with it, thats one thing. If you vote for him simply because he is averaging a triple double then I think that is ridiculous because he is doing it by extreme stat padding of the rebounds and anyone who denies that simply isn't paying attention.

Shocking loss for Chicago tonight in Brooklyn. Chicago has the easy schedule, Miami has the tough schedule so it was assumed Chicago would make the playoffs. But Chicago lost to Brooklyn while Miami won IN Washington. Crazy.

In regards to Westbrook getting triple doubles, after number 40, the thunder are 31-9 in those games. Very impressive.
Is that stat really true? They're 14-25 when he doesn't? That sounds wildly inconsistent so for that alone, I wouldn't give him MVP. If Boston gets #1 seed, I give it to Thomas. I would've given it to Kawhi if Spurs got 1 seed.

Stop being a hater. Westbrook deserves mvp this year.

Shame that Miami still miss out. They deserve to make it for the way they turned the season around from January onwards but will come short as Chicago only play Magic and Nets at home now. Miami play Cavs and Wizards, actually reckon they will win both but Bulls own the tie breaker.

We'll see.

I assume it's true, the internet and Sports center never lie..Haha.

Rodman ignored defensive assignments and hovered around the rim to pad his rebounding stats. That didn't stop him from being a multiple time champion and regarded as one of the best rebounders and defenders ever.

Shit OKC has beaten Denver 8 straight times. Makes me feel like the nuggets are destined to win today... But that also makes me feel like they are going to lose their road b2b against OKC.

Oh well, I like our odds of clinching with a win anyways.

lol Denver just gave the participants of tic tac toe autographed pictures of... wait for it... Nugget legends Jameer Nelson and Will Barton lol

A Nuggets fan tried to convince me that they run the leagues best offense with Jokic on the floor. A statement which gets dumber and dumber the more I watch them. The thing that the have going for them is the fact that they have a lot of jump shooters and atheletic young players, I feel confident guessing that their half court offense is 20-25th in the league. A lot of Jokic assists come from jump shots, and I don't consider that a good offense.

Jokic has some lazy defense
Watching him pisses me off. Seems like he's always just barreling around out there gassed coming up the court. His effort on the defensive end is James Harden esq at times.

Idgaf who the better player is right now, I would much rather have Nurkic. Their ceilings are very similar and I think Nurk will improve on the offensive end quicker/more than Jokic will on the defensive end.

Watching the Thunder without Westbrook on the floor is staggering. It's like watching the Blazers with Dame, CJ AND Nurk sitting. Regardless if how you feel about his statistical achievements, I don't think there is a better case for "Most Valuable Player" in the league.

Hawks trailed by 26 at start of 4th and forced OT. Might be record.

I loved that he barked at the ref because Adams beat him down the court for an easy bucket lol

Incredible bottle job by Cavs. They were still up by 4 with 20 seconds to go and had the ball, and then up by 5 with about 12 seconds.
