But if we win, we get HCA anyway and if OKC loses and NO and Denver win, we play Denver in first round
I think he could be fired. He himself may want a change of scenery?Clippers gonna fire Doc?
Chris Paul Revealed To Steve Ballmer That Doc Rivers Was Contributor To Exit
Following Chris Paul's exit from the Los Angeles Clippers last offseason, Steve Ballmer asked to meet with him.
Ballmer wanted to gain insight from Paul on why he left and also to share his thoughts on the state of the franchise.
Sources say Paul told Ballmer that Doc Rivers was one of the contributing factors on why he left.
Many of the longtime Clippers from that era noticed how Rivers grew frustrated with his inability to manage the locker room and began to act out himself.
Some of the Clippers also noticed how Rivers takes on a salesmanship personality but could also fudge the truth.

I think I have this one right at least.I would rather lose and play Pelicans than win and play Spurs or Utah (can we even still play them? I think no).
Yep that’s the only team that’s locked to win tonightOKC will for sure best Memphis, we can get this out of the way. We are going to have HCA.

Ya it's being discussed in the other thread. That game has no impact on HCA.OKC will for sure best Memphis, we can get this out of the way. We are going to have HCA.
Still haven't seen anything definitive on that. The "memo" Blazersedge referenced was 3 years old. Chad's "we checked that with the league" comment is nebulous at best. It seems counterintuitive that the league would apply a multi-team tiebreaker to determine seeding, and then go back and use a H2H record to determine HCA, when in every other instance the league has made a point to have HCA and seeding be congruent.Ya it's being discussed in the other thread. Muthafucka what???
No, in 2015 we actually had a worse record than MEM. H2H had nothing to do with it.Right? Casey on the Ripcity Report even referenced the same. About it reverting H2H to determine HCA. He said that's why we played MEM without HCA in 2015.
I was talking about the game last night against the GSW. When Utah won they took hold of the 3rd seed. We win it back tonight.
lol how about we just all hope for a win against Utah and let the other 3 teams battle it out.No, in 2015 we actually had a worse record than MEM. H2H had nothing to do with it.

Different sources are saying different things. Nobody knows for certain (regardless of how certain every seems to be), because it's not clearly stated anywhere. So is that right? We could get 4th seed but not homecourt advantage? Do they refer back to H2H for HCA or did they change it to the three way tiebreaker for seed and HCA
I haven't seen anything published by the NBA, specifically stating that.Still haven't seen anything definitive on that. The "memo" Blazersedge referenced was 3 years old. Of course not--that is simply my analysis of the seeding changes they've made over the past several years.I haven't seen anything published by the NBA, specifically stating that.

His son.Who would be left on the Clippers to whine about calls?
Is Casey not official enough? He's employed by the Blazers.I haven't seen anything published by the NBA, specifically stating that.
Didn't you just say that Casey said that H2H was the reason we didn't have HCA v MEM in 2015? If he can't even get that right, who's to say that anything else he says is accurate? Is Casey not official enough? He's employed by the Blazers.
Good point. It's just funny to see him get worked up. Very easy to mess with himDidn't you just say that Casey said that H2H was the reason we didn't have HCA v MEM in 2015? If he can't even get that right, who's to say that anything else he says is accurate?
