It was the meJ label that was ridiculous IMO. For whatever reason, some Blazers fans think any player who often creates for himself is selfish. But every team needs one or two.

The Dame/CJ back court never made any sense. They were so terrible defensively. Both of them were great at getting their own offense going and Dame was great at getting the rest of the team involved on that end but we just couldn't have two defensive liabilities like they were, especially together.

Love CJ, loved him when I was saying he needed to be traded. He was just a bad fit.

Playing with defense first guys like NAW and Daniels makes a lot of sense for him and I'm super happy for him.

Orlando could upset Detroit. That would be a huge upset.
Minnesota could upset Denver, though really it's not much of an upset looking at the talent Minnesota has.
Portland could upset San Antonio. That would be a huge upset, with or without Wemby.
Philadelphia could upset Boston. That would be a huge upset.
Atlanta could upset New York. That would be a talent upset, but not so much looking at their records when CJ began starting for Atlanta.
Since CJ began starting for Atanta full-time on February 22, the Hawks went from 27-31 to 46-36, a 19-5 record. The Knicks were 17-8 from 2/22 to the end of the season. Both teams ended the season well.

so there could be 5 upsets out of the 8 series. Minnesota, Atlanta (both winning game 3) then I think Portland, Philadelphia, and Orlando in that order? Who knows.

And OKC got some injuries. This is starting to smell like a storybook ending where we get lucky and suddenly Dame returns and we win the championship against the Hawks. The Dame vs CJ battle in the Final would be absolute cinema.
