Is this the worst (most boring?) first round of the playoffs that you can remember?

Happens a few times where most the first round series suck; although I don't remember so many blowouts.

The Dallas/OKC Game 2 was exciting. A couple of decent games in the East.
But aside from that yes, the first round has been pretty bad. Shows there is a real gap between top teams and lower teams East and West.
Seriously, 68 points?

Pearl Washington died. The media used to ridicule him, as they did a lot of Nets. He was a college star, but couldn't hack the NBA. He seemed too gentle for it, intimidated by it. He's one of many reasons that I think that Syracuse players usually don't pan out. I haven't read these articles yet. I will in a few minutes.

It's amazing how much better that team is after getting rid of Kahn.

Not just Kahn, but let's not forget how much they've sucked since KG left. Haven't made the playoffs since 2004. They've gotten out of the first round once since their birth in 1989.

The correct way to eat Watermelon is with Bulgarian Feta cheese. The combination of salty and sweet just works like magic.

I hope the league takes note. Parity breads interest and excitement. Domination by the chosen ones breeds boredom and apathy.

Meh, the league has done plenty. The most recent CBA stressed parity, but probably the best first round in recent history happened just two years ago before the new CBA was completely integrated.

In 2014:
1-8 IND-ATL matchup went 7 games.
3-6 TOR- BKN matchup went 6 games.
1-8 SAS-DAL matchup went 7 games.
2-7 OKC-MEM matchup went 7 games.
3-6 LAC-GSW matchup went 7 games.
4-5 HOU-POR matchup went 6 games.

This year is just off because of GS/SA's dominance over the rest of the league. And let's not forget that their creation has been an indirect function of the league stressing parity.

What do you mean? They owe Kahn a debt of gratitude for making them awful enough to get those lottery picks. Well, that and Cleveland thinking Love was worth Wiggins.

Kahn has been gone for a while. Really they were bad enough to get those picks because they were constantly injured and Kevin Love was a faux superstar.

Can you imagine Thibs and Harden in the same locker-room? There are Kardasian marriages that have lasted longer than that one would!

It's looking more likely either Jeff Van Gundy or Scott Brooks will land the next gig as the Rockets head coach.

Batum just turned his ankle real bad. Might be out for the series with FA looming. That sucks for NIC.

Batum might miss rest of series. Sigh feel bad for the dude. Every year
