Haven't found a video with multiple angles on youtube yet, but here is the play. Not a good angle to see Manu's initial contact.

However if you look at the start of the video, Waiters feet are very clearly behind the line.

Haha check out Adams in the bottom right corner at the end getting into it with some fans. It looks like some redneck grabs him to keep him off the court then after the horn he goes back and faces them.

Ginobli never stepped over the line. You guys are fucking ridiculous.
Do you drive? I'm not sure I feel safe with you out on the road...

On the line = over the line.

Why do you think they review 3 point shots to see if the player had their foot on the line?

So the big controversy is Manu suckering Waiters into some contact, then a classic Manu flop? No wonder the ref let it go.
How did he sucker him into contact?

There were a lot of calls on that one inbounds play that could have gone either way. Green fouled Durant, Leonard pushed Westbrrook in the back, Ginobli's toe was over the line.......but to be honest, I think the refs no calls were the best choice. I really don't think Waiters benefited by extending his forearm. Ginobli did what he does best on that play.....he flopped. Waiters barely toughed him. and to Manu's credit after the game he seemed a little surprised why everyone was making a big deal out of it.

Okay

Don't even press play, just look at the still frame where his foot is on the line.
That wouldn't load for some reason until now. So yeah his toe did cross the line. But that doesn't negate the fact that waiters started the play with parts of his body over the line. Instant violation.

Pretty sure there is also a rule that guys can't jump while inbounding the ball

His arms go over the line .. Doesn't have to be feet
I know..... Read the earlier posts.... I'm the one that posted the rule. And even though ginoblis foot crossed the line. I will say it again...... DION WAITERS STARTED THE PLAY WITH PARTS OF HIS BODY OVER THE LINE.

Where's our resident ref on this issue?

Dude - let it go. The ONLY time I have EVER seen them call the in-bounder for breaking the field of play is when they are defended and STEP onto the court before passing. That didn't happen. But literally multiple times per game the in-bounder breaks the field of play - even stepping in bounds undefended - before passing the ball, and it's not called. It may be a "rule", but it's akin to all those laws on the books about not drinking with pigs on Sundays. Whereas the defender crossing the in-bound line is an actual rule that's adhered to.

I always wondered how the Raptors home court was such trash with this "great fan support" they have. Then I was listening to game 7 of the Pacers-Raptors series and heard one of the Raptors fans hounding Derozan and Lowry when they were struggling...

It was probably Tunchi trying to get Lowry to come to Portland.
