Durant shooting 41% from the floor and 26% from 3 pt range during the playoffs so far. He looks old to me. Not the same energy

He's been about 4th best SF. Easily behind LeBron, Kawhi and Paul George and Draymond Green as well if he's a SF. I'm almost hoping the Lakers break the bank to land him.

To be fair, what the Spurs got for George Hill was the #17 pick in the draft. That's a fair trade. It's the 16 teams picking before that that should be kicking themselves.

The organization pushed Aldridge out. I can't even blame him for leaving. They tried to entice him to stay by putting him in a position (leader) which he is not comfortable in. Looking at his situation in San Antonio you see that it is perfect. He's tremendously talented but not a leader personality. You can just tell he is more comfortable in the role he is in now in San Antonio, and I can't help but feel like he could have had the same thing here with Lillard running the show. Just an awkward situation, which happens some times and it was clearly best for both sides for Aldridge to move on.

Interesting theory - but if that is the case, why didn't he just let Dame be the leader and concentrate on playing the game? There had to be more to the story.

I guess I viewed it as him trying to embrace the situation that others wanted to put him in, despite the fact that deep down he wasn't comfortable doing so.

I don't think he really wanted the spotlight either, but he also didn't like that Dame was more popular than him. He didn't like that Dame had a massive shoe contract. He didn't like that Dame was doing national ad campaigns. There were a number of articles that came out about this very subject.

I think he felt awkward trying to be the vocal leader over Dame - a born leader who's actions always spoke louder than anything LaMarcus could say. Like it was too much to even face his team as the leader after that loss so he would rather fly home on a separate plane. You have already set the bar by saying that the media has an agenda, or that it was a PR move by the team. You're not going to accept anything I give you as fact. I'm not going to spend time finding stuff that was posted on this forum because A) you should have seen it when it was first posted and B) you're just going to dismiss it as propaganda.
