I watched the last few minutes. Kobe was incredible. Led them back from 10 down and won the game. Unbelievable. 60 points. I have more respect for him now. People paid a lot for those seats and he put on a show.

I was so happy the day Oden had his first microfracture surgery. I mean, a guy I hated got fired at work and I was all yippeeeeee. Then I got home and found out and I was depressed almost.

I think I made it through today without anything bad happening, was worried because it is a special day. Bye Kobe.

50 shots for 60 points.

seems legit.

I hope the win shifts their numbers in the lotto slightly and gives them the 4th pick.

I was expecting him to have taken 25-30 FTA, but he only shot 12.

I feel like the Mavs match up really poorly with the thunder. I don't think there are enough fresh legs on that team to keep up with the athleticism of OKC.

Until tonight, nobody has 50 FGA in the 33 years since FGA became a stat.

Hey, say what you want about the guy, but the NBA (and sports in general) is awesome because of stuff like this.

What a show, can't even hate. Sports are for entertainment anyways and in terms of entertainment this was top notch.

Awesome that Kobe went out playing like the selfish ballhog he always was, and after having an absolutely terrible season on a tanking team. What a legacy. Good riddance.
I know his teammates have probably given good lip service about it (they are Lakers. Rim shot.), but I imagine they are so happy to come back next year and actually get a shot to well......take a shot.

MJ scored 64

Not after playing 20 straight years in the league. I had a big Blazer watch party tonight but we turned over to the last few minutes of the Lakers game and went completely nuts, cheering him on. It was amazing especially because they won the game. He literally willed them back from a 10 point deficit. It was a blast and a great way to go out. It'll be remembered as one of the great sports performances of all time. Maybe his greatest. Just if you put it into context. People paid thousands of dollars for those seats and he gave them a show. I was pissed by all the hype leading up to the game. But then he lived up to it. Mad props.

That was amazing. Hate on him all you want, but that dude loves the game of basketball. He gave everything he had and left it all on the court. He's one of the all time greats and I'll remember this game for the rest of my life. It was surreal. Now lets beat the fucking clippers!

ALL 50 shots.

Glad he's out of the league. What a selfish player. Not just tonight, but always.
