Didn't see the game but could you elaborate ?
Nothing cheers me up like draymond green fucking up
Double OT, Curry had fouled out. They're down by a single possession. He gets an O-Reb and gets fouled by 2 Rockets, and decides to kick Harden in the face while extending his off arm as he jumps.

aka "unnatural act." The NBA made a whole new rule strictly to address this, and he's still out here kicking his leg up again.

Flagrant 1 called. HOU hits two FTs and a bucket on the ensuing possession--- game over.

Curry looks like shit when he isn't on fire. He's sloppy as hell with the ball and chucks some awful shots. It's like Bad Dame X 100 when Steph is missing, because he hangs his head and eventually quits trying. Dame at least tries to do other things when he's cold.

KD was on fire in the first half, and in some dumbass effort to get Steph going, they went away from him in the third. KD then lost his rhythm and it killed em. Klay was awful as well (4-20 from the field really??).

All this talk about regression to the mean, Steph is a candidate that no one really talks about. After two seasons of ridiculous play, he has come down to mortal levels-- still a top 10 player, but not a unanimous MVP.

Also.

Warriors look beatable. Need a bunch of shooting, a good rebounder/rim protector, and lengthy defenders.

Thanks for the posts recapping this game. I got a newborn right now, so no late nights staying up and watching TNT basketball. Kid duty!

The Brooklyn Nets have signed Donatas Motiejunas to a four-year, $37 million offer sheet.

With Motiejunas being a restricted free agent, the Houston Rockets have 72 hours to match.

Adrian Wojnarowski reports Motiejunas' deal includes two non-guaranteed years on the back end.

The Rockets traded Motiejunas to the Detroit Pistons last February but the trade was later rescinded following concerns about the condition of his back.

Obligatory apology for feasting on the tears of others, but..... this is toooooo delicious:

Lovely...

As a ref you really want to avoid these kind of interactions. But one of the cardinal (unwritten) rules of refereeing is:

Never take baggage out of the game. In other words, never leave a game saying "I should've T'd him/her". If a tech is warranted, hand that MF out. It's not given, it's earned. All that said, I can't STAND Doc Rivers...

Indiana playing really well right now against the Clippers in LA. Still only the 3rd quarter though. But I think they will end up being pretty good by the end of the year.

How many people is draymond going to kick this year? Holy fuck..

He never used to do that shit as much last year. It's like he came into the season after making a bet with Curry and Durant "How many guys you think I can get away with kicking this year?" Curry shaking his head like "Damn I knew I should have bet more" and Durant is smiling like "Yeah, this is easy money!"

Barnes has always been an asshole.

"Barnes is accused of choking a woman during an argument at the club. Barnes then allegedly punched another woman and a man who attempted to break up the fight."

"We do not believe a crime was committed and are hopeful no charges will be pressed," Barnes' attorney Alex Spiro told the website."

Obviously, two different versions of what happened. Sounds like it's going to come down to a classic case of he said, she (and she and he) said. If the events described are close to true, how is choking a woman during an argument self-defense? Perhaps you could make a case that the second woman, the one he (allegedly) punched and the man he (allegedly) punched was self defense, but choking someone during an argument hardly seems like a defensive maneuver for someone who is 6'7" 226 lb., especially when you have another pretty big guy (6'11", 270 lb.) at your side.

And, it's not like Barnes doesn't have a history of anger issues:

"The NBA suspended Barnes two games last season after an altercation with former New York Knicks coach Derek Fisher.

Barnes was also fined $15,000 for directing inappropriate language toward game officials during a loss to the Miami Heat last month."

What were the Kings thinking when they signed Barnes, that he'd be a good role model for Cousins? Maybe they thought if they signed an even bigger douche, Cousins wouldn't look so bad by comparison.

"The incident occurred hours after the Kings were in town to play the New York Knicks. Barnes played 17 minutes in the 106–98 loss, scoring two points on 1–11 shooting."

It doesn't justify his (alleged) actions, but I guess that does help explain his anger.
