Some guy is insisting it’s dillon brooks. That would make more sense.
Yeah, would the Grizz give up two 2nd round picks and Dillon for Oubre? Probably, I guess. It definitely makes more sense that way.

They don’t. Woj confused.
I wonder if this got leaked/killed by the Suns to try and get more from the Lakers for Ariza? I'd definitely take Oubre for a future 2nd, a conditional 2nd, and 2 end of the bench guys (Baldwin and Swanigan to Phoenix?).

Then get Melo with the open roster spot? Bench could potentially be Turner, Stauskas, Oubre, Melo, and Collins?

Yes yes and yes

You support going for Melo?...

He came off the bench in Houston
And I’m pretty sure he hated it, even though he was with his banana boat buddy Chris Paul.

and has to know that's his only chance of sticking in the NBA now.
I don’t think a multi all-star, multi- Olympian, multi-franchise player, ball in hand, volume scorer (I’m trying to phrase chucker nicely), knows anything about accepting his place, and role on a team.

Sure some do, but I don’t think Melo is one of those some. If he wasn’t willing to “know his role” in either OKC, or Houston, I don’t think there’s any way he’ll be a team player here.

That said, I love Olympic Melo, and I’d love to be proven wrong.

So.... why did Phoenix get Ariza AT ALL? Now they get a vet PG in Rivers? It makes no sense.

Oh, And Oubre. I saw Oubre going to the Grizz.

THIS IS SO CONFUSING. But still... wtf suns? You're a weird tanking team.

With the Wiz trading Oubre, seems very unlikely they trade Porter. Maybe they tried and got no good offers, considering his contract.

Kawhi Leonard Has Been Focused On 'Home And L.A.'

"The acquisition of Kawhi Leonard by the
Toronto Raptors has gone extremely well, but they remain nervous about their odds of re-signing him in 2019.

"They can't change the geography. They can't change the weather in Toronto. Those were always be things against them in this," said Adrian Wojnarowski. "Home and L.A. has been the focus for Kawhi Leonard through all of this."

Wojnarowski also added that quality of life will also be a priority for Leonard and that his prior championship changes the equation for some players.

Leonard previously sought a trade from the San Antonio Spurs to one of the two Los Angeles teams.

The Los Angeles Clippers have been sending Lawrence Frank to an inordinate number Raptors' games and have been treating Leonard's impending free agency almost like a college recruiting process."

Why? Ariza is more of a starter than Oubre is. He's a better replacement.

Man, I would think Lawrence Frank would be the last guy you'd want recruiting him?
