If he could get his 2P% back im line with previous years, he'd be insanely efficient and one of the best off-the-bench guards in the league. We need to stagger Dame and C.J. so that Seth can play more.
I agree, I just was stating why there is Curry criticism despite him shooting the 3 well.

I wonder if they'd do Turner, Harkless, and Leonard for Porter and Mahinmi? I don't really want to take on Mahinmi but doing so might be a way to make the trade work without giving up a pick.

Or how about this:
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yaea65d7

Blazers get Porter, Mahinmi, and Melo

Rockets get Aminu

Wiz get Turner, Leonard, Chriss, and Carter-Williams

For the Rockets they get a defensive wing that would basically be Mbah A Moute's role from last year. Wiz get a bunch of crap but get completely under the luxury tax this year and improve their tanking status.

Blazers lineup would be:
Dame, CJ, Harkless, Porter, Nurk (I like that a lot)
Curry, Stauskas, Layman, Melo, Collins (Not bad for the bench)
Baldwin, Simons, Trent, Mahinmi, Swanigan
I like this. I just don't want to give HOU exactly what they're looking for.

If we are trading Aminu and Leonard we need another big. I don't think Melo is a bad fit with Collins up front and can get some buckets when the 2nd unit is playing like crap. Melo's defense isn't as bad when playing the 4 as it is at the 3. I wouldn't give up anything for Melo but he's just a throw in. Worst case he can be cut.

Send him and a 2nd or two for someone like Holmes. Phoenix can cut him.

I do like Holmes but we are already getting Mahinmi so I'd prefer more of a scoring PF. I also don't want to give up any picks.

i think he'd be a better fit there. yes a bit.
That's weird to type out huh? LOL

I think if we get Porter and all we give up is Aminu, Turner, and Leonard then I don't really care what happens with the other teams involved.

Meh, Mahinmi shouldnt play at all. Just no Melo.

It's getting better but Curry is still only shooting 31.6% on 2 point FGs. He only has 25 assists with 21 turnovers which isn't great for a small guard. These kind of overshadow his 3 point shooting. I think he's still trying to get his feel back for the game after sitting out a year. Obviously it would be great if he shot close to 50% on 3 pointers all year.

Sure, it would be nice if he improved in areas he isn't [nearly] as good at, but I would guess he was brought in almost entirely for his floor spacing capabilities.

It's often been said, to be a good bench player you need to excel in one area. Starters are the ones you expect to be more well-rounded.

Poor anology.

Why ask someone about what racism is about when they don't have much experience dealing with it?

The person dealing with it everyday would have way more examples of dealing with it than the one who's more than likely never had detriment in their life due to complexion.

It's a great analogy. Sucks that it needs to be explained...

You don't understand. I said a while ago itd be best to leave this conversation where it is.

That's a non-response. But I think you know that, or you would have come back with your usual fury.

Non answer....

If you aren't actively doing your part to curb the racists and you are standing by idly while your fellow American citizens are being treated as 2nd class, then you're part of the problem, not the solution. Defending Cuban in this instance is an example of just that. Again, racism must be stamped out. Play your part in creating an all inclusive country...

I understand completely, I frankly don't care.

People pick up their toys and leave Cartman style when they're wrong.

Know, you dont understand my point.

You're on some arrogant BS trying to say you understand me when you dont, and then saying that stupid ass Cartman line when I'm trying to be civil because theres nothing to be gained from this conversation, and it'll only create problems.

Is dviss1 still trying to argue that Cuban's comments were racists? The 'ignore' feature is a wonderful tool....

Defending Cuban and asking if it's wrong to look into the issue are two very different things. You're every bit as guilty of perpetuating the problem by being overly sensitive to dealing with the perceptions that underlie it. Take your own advice and don't try solving problems by turning a blind eye.

Hilarious.

That's what's being done about Cuban's comment.

You can lead a ref to water, but you can't make him drink...

So??? He's a manufactured star who's allowed to travel and flop all over the place.

He literally has like 120 more free throws than field goals.

To give perspective:

MJ
LeBron
Kobe
Durant

All have like 4000 more field goals than free throws.
I really don't care HOW you get it done as long as it GET'S done. Curious why the more fire throws than field goals is a bad thing by the way? Honest question.
