FUCK

Having said that, I don't see him really working out for them. He's not got a great BBall IQ and he's not much of a shooter.

I think it's just a short-term arrangement while Livingston is banged up. Or maybe they want another combo guard to provide energy off the bench the way Leandro Barbosa did the past couple of years. Barbosa, in his decline phase, has been a very up and down shooter but he's always been pedal-to-the-metal. From the highlights you linked of him, Weber seems the same way, on both ends.

I wonder if he'll head back to Cleveland.

Could he be the playmaker LBJ needs? Haha

AHA! So you just posted to torment me! And THIS
I don't follow the D League, really, or read the threads about it. This is all news to me.
was a total lie!

was a total lie!

I clicked through, out of curiosity, after KeepOnRollin mentioned that you've been hyping him and linked the thread.

I would never lie. I learned really terrific ethics in my time studying law at Harvard when I was 12 and looking to broaden my horizons.

Right now, I'm just hoping we can give ourselves a chance at the 6th seed. With improvements at the trade deadline, I think we'd have a 50/50 chance at beating the Rockets in a 7 game series.

And if that happens, then we'd face San Antonio, who's been great but I think we could compete with improvements.

And by improvements, I mean the addition of two of Ibaka, B.Lopez, Noel, Matthews, W.Chandler, etc.

Don't hold your breath.

To get to that 6th seed its a long uphill battle. We can do it but I think we need something like 75% win rate from here on out. I'm not sure if we can beat the Rockets in a 7 game series but they are our best bet.

Zach Lavine tore his ACL, apparently. No Slam Dunk contest for him...

Describe his carry. Got film?
I don't. Celtics game on national TV is where I saw it. He very casually puts his hand under the ball, and then turns his hand over, while still in contact with the ball. Now that I think of it, he makes the same motion as a ref who signals carrying.

By rule a player may have their hand on the side of the ball (like a handshake) If the palm opens up more than a handshake it's a carry.

However, if the player is not gaining an advantage doing it, I won't call it unless it's egregious. I'll simply say keep your hand on top.

Fun fact: Isaiah Thomas carries the ball every time he dribbles the ball up the court.
Michael Jordan constantly did that...disguised it as a stutter step but he carried the ball and palmed the ball all the time.

They used to call Carrying on Roy all the time. Never let him get away with it.

I just saw a video of him in college, and he was definitely carrying lol. Or maybe it just looks like it cause his hands are so small? I wonder if he can palm the ball?

One of Cj's best moves is the fake pull up, then blow by. One of these days he's gonna fake the ref and get called for a carry lol.

So, can we blame Lorenzo Romar for this? Is this a reason not to draft Markelle Fultz if we get the #1 pick?

from Marc Spears

The Sixers are in deep talks to send forward-center Jahlil Okafor to the Pelicans, a source told @theundefeated. New Orleans could send center Alex Ajinca and a future 1st rounder back. USA Today 1st broke the story.

Sucks to be the #2 pick. Derrick Williams just got waived, Okafor's getting traded for a future pick and Alex Ajinca. Durant really is a rarity. Sigh.

That's because he should have been the #1 pick.

Of course, there's always Aldridge.

Pretty low trade value unless that is an unprotected 1st.

Since Ajinca has never been a more than 15 MPG type player, and with minutes restrictions on Joel Embiid, that most likely means Nerlens Noel is off the market - for now. Damn, I wish we could have gotten him before PHI decided Okafor was the young center they should look to trade.
