This is getting ridiculous. Teams like Golden State and Cleveland just need to have a core of about 5 players, fill the rest of the roster with D-Leaguers, and then release all of them about this time of year and pick up all the vets that are bought out.
Or, overpay guys like Crabbe and Leonar_, so you can spew your bench depth....like tgat really matters.

Knicks fans are furious, demanding that management play Noah 30+ mpg in order to improve the effectiveness of the tank job...

Noah's salary looks bad because he's a reserve. His salary is not out of line as a starter, so clearly they need to start him in order to save that contract. And now that opportunity is gone.

Sad.

Edit: I just realized he was starting for them. Wow.

Embiid has swelling in his knee.

smh.

We all know how this goes all too well.
He plays a dangerous style of ball......falls down quite a bit after dunks...hope he's ok because he's really skilled

The New York Knicks waived Brandon Jennings in order to sign Chasson Randle.

The Knicks will pay Jennings the balance of the $5 million he's owed this season. The Knicks were unhappy with Jennings' mindset of late.

The Knicks will sign Randle to a partially guaranteed deal through the 2017-18 season.

Randle, undrafted out of Stanford in 2015, averaged nine minutes and 5.3 points for the Sixers in eight games this season.

I've gotta say as a Blazer fan I watched some Bucks vs Suns last night at work and I really enjoy watching the Bucks....sans Monroe...I'm glad we didn't sign him...Earl Watson has the Suns playing good defense and even though they are tanking...they are fun to watch to..Booker is a baller!

Kyle Lowry is out for the regular season. Having surgery on his wrist.

Will be back for playoffs presumably.
Good for Raptors to have him back well rested. They will be much better set for the playoffs this season with Ibaka and Tucker.

I like them a lot too. It's a shame Parker got injured in the same game Middleton came back, I really wish we got to see them line up with Parker, Giannis and Middleton all at the same time for an extended period. This could have got them into playoffs and even made them a threat there. If they draft well this season and get a good playmaker they will be good next season. Maker is a nice talent too and they hit lottery with Brogdon. They basically only need playmaker because all remaining 4 spots they have talented players in. They won't get high enough to get Fultz or Ball unless they have amazing luck in lottery but some of Fox, Smith and Ntikilina could well fall to them.

They are just a few pieces away from being scary good....I think they have enough youth....like to see them fortify the bench with a couple vets...Thon Maker is great...Giannis is going to be a bona fide superstar and Brogdon is super talented....all in all I'm impressed with Jason Kidd's progress as a coach..Parker and Middleton are franchise players...

Any waiver wire predictions as to where Bogut, Brandon Jennings and Jose Calderon end up signing?

Deron Williams has officially signed with the Cavs, as expected.

UTA wants PG depth, so I could see them going for one of Jennings or Calderon.

I think there is also a chance Calderon ends up in TOR. Lowry is out for the regular season, and while Cory Joseph is one of the best back up PGs in the league, with Lowry out, they lack dpeth at that spot and it's where Calderon had the best years of his career.

I'm sure the Cavs would love to have Bogut, as would BOS. It will be interesting to see where he goes.

BNM

I heard someone say Bogut has committed to CLE but it is just a matter of time (I don't think he has officially be waived yet - I could be wrong on that though).
