He was 10 minutes to a flight with a new team in a new city and I think Carlisle handled it very poorly.

Our roster would be picked apart in an expansion draft. We would designate Dame & CJ and then would lose Harkless +/or Aminu/Nurkic.

I don't think we will see expansion anytime soon but last time there was one you got to protect 8 of your players. Harkless and Nurkic are easily on that list of 8.

The last expansion draft we could protect 8. So your worry would be losing one of our 9-15 guys?

After the first 4, it doesn't matter, but
Dame
CJ
Nurk
Harkless

Aminu
Vonleh
Turner
Crabbe

The seriously, who would we miss?

You leave Crabbe unprotected in any hypothetical expansion draft because expansion teams only get 2/3rds of the Cap Space in their first year so they aren't likely to be interested. Plus, in some instances you might want them to take him.

Again, after the first four, it really doesn't matter

Shit that looked like bad news for Wes. Hopefully has nothing to do with the Achilles he injured.

Gonna be a big game @ OKC. They will be on a 3 game slump after a nights rest at home, and we will be on a back to back. Also a must win game for tiebreaker purposes.

They've looked really bad tonight against the Mavs.

Westbrook got a tech tonight so unless it is rescinded he will be suspended for our game!

Edit: Of course ESPN reports the number of Techs wrong. You gotta pay for insider to get the right number.

I don't understand how he gets so many techs. He's one of the poster boys of the league. And he gets every call...

Zaza averaging 6 reb this year. Nurk would dominate Zaza in a playoff series - another reason I'd rather see the Warriors than the Spurs.

Also this from tonight.

This why the NBA gets it wrong when it comes to technical fouls, intentional fouls, and flagrant fouls. That's an unsportsmanlike foul which is simply a Tech. He already had one T prior. He should have been booted from the game for that play.

But here's the thing:

What people don't understand about referees is that we prevent fights every game. That's basically our job. Make sure that these people play sportsmanlike basketball. Because, a basketball game is what everybody came to see. To achieve that goal, you have to make sure that you put the proper whistle on illegal contact. If you don't, the kids will fight. AND, it will be your fault.

The referee could've prevented Russell's unsportsmanlike conduct.

Seth Curry gets away with a LOT of pushing on that play and gains an advantage from it because he gets free and even has a set screen. He's gonna hit that shot. Had the referee called the push there would have been no foul by Russell (unless he just decided to be the asshole that he is and pushed Harrison Barnes anyway). Maybe you prevent it, maybe you don't. But he literally shoves Westbrook with both hands and I don't know anyone who likes that. My point is the referee, with talking to the players ("hands off", "don't push" etc) and blowing your whistle can prevent these things from happening.

There should been whistle before that on curry and maybe Westbrook wouldn't done what he did but he properly would try do it to Curry instead of Barnes.
