Anybody see this movie! Fantastic flick. I did NOT want to go to Australia ever because I don’t do bugs and creatures at ALL……but after watching this movie…. @THE HCP wants to go here. I did my graduate research 300 km north of Perth in the Eneabba sand plains…absolutely loved it over there. (I was studying seed dispersal by ants)

it was a bit complicated and part of a compensation package that was due LAL but was expanded by mutual agreement of the two teams. The NBA at the time had a policy/rule that when teams signed a free agent from another team, they had to compensate for the signing. IIRC, the league office determined what was justified compensation

Portland got compensated when the San Diego Clippers signed Bill Waton:



in the 1988 CBA, the rule of compensation was eliminated and the league went to unrestricted free agency
