Most Improved candidate, or NO because of who he plays for?

The NBA's collective bargaining agreement says teams are not allowed to trade a player and then re-sign him if he's waived. However, Conley can return to Minnesota since he was traded a second time before he was let go.

Hornets have turned the corner. Kon is the reason. Now Ball has the shooters to lead the league in assists.

I don't know what is or isn't clear right now. What you're saying is the most plausible explanation but you have to give some credence to the idea that Dundon is finished with this front office and wants whoever his new front office is to make any moves going forward.
If so I hope that is the case. I HATED how Cronin did all the major moves a few months after Olshey was fired while he was an interim GM. That blew all the Blazers chances of turning that roster over with a quick retool and trying to legit win with Dame.

Maybe those moves would have eventually been done anyways - but that should have been a new long term GM decision to do with a long term strategic plan of how to rebuild the team. Not just random trades that saw a future allstar on a reasonable contract given away for nothing. Or assets given up for Josh Hart - then decided months later he had to be dumped for Kris Murray pick because Hart didn't want to be here.

If there are going to be big changes in the next few years then give the new Blazers GM the decision, power and tools to rebuild the roster.

All that money and no results. And it's not just the Kings. The result of spoiling players with egregious, ever growing contracts. Players get paid and then don't care to earn it....cause they already did right?! They played well enough to earn the contract. The work is done. Now its easy street.

No one can accuse them of tanking by spending that much.

“They” could be no 1? That’s your team bruh. Guess he has no intention of staying?

I think Kawhi Leonard is autistic.
Yeah he seems like he's on the spectrum to me but that's without knowing him. He could also not be on the autism spectrum and have any number of personality disorders.

Let's just say if one day in the future we find out that he's been murdering random people his entire adult life, I wouldn't be shocked.

This is pretty wild. So I guess because Conley went to a team after the team the Wolves traded him to, they can now sign him to a minimum contract. Nice wheeling and dealing by the Wolves I guess. I just didn't think this sort of thing was allowed in the NBA anymore.
Does anyone really care? Conley is 47, opponents will probably be happy to see him on the court in the playoffs.
