If you pull dirty crap like that and a player gets hurt, the offending player should be out until the hurt player returns. There are enough accident injuries as it is, that cheap ass crap is BS.
So Jokic should’ve missed the last 30 games or whatever for blindsiding Morris?

Jokic deserved more than one game, but it was a reaction to a situation he did not instigate. There has to be some kind of understanding about that

Wow, definitely re-thinking rooting for Stockton and Malone against the Bulls two finals in a row

This is the reason why I haven't offered to fill in for Lillard on the Blazers while he's been injured. Don't want to drop dead on the court.

Where have all these athletes died that he speaks of?

A few former NFL and MLB players have died of Covid. Many foreign athletes in countries where the vaccine has been harder to get, mostly retired, have died of Covid. But, they are not all professional and none of them died because of the vaccine.

The list I believe Stockton is referring to contains athletes that are professional, but mostly amateur or otherwise. Alot of them are from sports that aren't mainstream like archery and badminton. Most of them were not in their prime, but old and retired. Those who died of heart ailments had pre- existing heart issues. Not all of them were vaccinated. Many were not.

None of these deaths can be attributed to the vaccine. It's just fear mongering. It's just taking a list of people who have died and falsely attributing the vaccine as a factor to push an anti vax agenda. There is no proof in the pudding.

He from the red state of Utah that all everyone needs to know about his views.

Everyone's going to read that as referring to the Covid vaccines, and maybe there's more to the interview, but it looks to me like he's just talking about vaccines in general. Considering the millions of vaccinated athletes, it wouldn't surprise me if 100-150 had died from adverse reactions.

They should leave him in. He's 12 points from Bird's franchise record.

well yawn

remember when Dame and CJ each got 50 in 29 minutes?

So if someone fouls you in a manner you don’t like, it’s open season on them? What’s “instigating”?

You could legitimately argue that most charge/block calls are more violent than what happened to Jokic.

Say Lillard fouls Facu. What’s to stop the Nuggets from saying Facu has a strain for 8 weeks? Or “back pain”?

His point is still stupid then. It's a fucking stupid take no matter what parameters you put on it.

I'm not defending it or him. I'm just saying, people should at least critique it in the right context. Bad assumptions are not a sign of intelligence, either.

There is a difference between a "Bad Assumption" and a "Clear Assumption". In today's context if you are bashing vaccines you are assumed ("Clear Assumption") you are talking about Covid. The unclear or ("Bad Assumption") would be to assume someone is talking about the history of all vaccines. There is no clear message that Stockton was talking about all vaccines in medical history. If he was he's an absolute clown.

Grayson Allen suspended 1 game for his flagrant 2 on Alex Caruso

With regards to athletes dying, I'd say it's a hell of a lot more reasonable to assume he was talking about all vaccines than it is to try and fit the statement to preconceived notions.

Probably correct on that assumption. Makes him seem like more of a clown. Exactly how many athletes have their been since we started making vaccines? Who makes that kind of statement?
